Perfect for family with all ages
We had a four generation family vacation and the space worked well for all. If you have older people and children in your party, I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart. The beach is easily a walkable distance but when traveling with many people to and from as well as carrying the equipment necessary for all day on the beach with large group, the golf cart was a very convenient option. The beach access at the Kooky Coconut was close by with plenty of parking. For those that like a good Cuban Sandwich the Kooky Coconut was a good local find. A ice cream shop with over 100 flavors was also walking distance after dinner. The golf carts are nice 6 seaters that are street legal with seatbelts, lights etc. The cart can be parked in the enclosed garage and charged overnight. There were beach toys, beach towels and camping chairs (not low beach chairs) available for use. The bedrooms were nice sizes and all beds were comfortable. Both bathrooms that had showers were upstairs. The half bath was located downstairs in the laundry and off the game room. There was a large mini fridge in the game room right off the pool deck that was convenient for drinks by the pool. After a long day at the beach having a private pool on property was nice to continue to hang out while dad grilled ( nice gas grill big enough to prepare food for our family of 9. It was too hot for using the fire pit while we were there but it was also a nice space with Adirondack chairs that looked like they would make for a comfortable hang.
The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals at home. Crockpot, blender, toaster many pots, pans and microwaveable as well as dinner ware and dishwasher. Large dining room table as well as bar stools at the island easily sat 9. Picnic table in the deck for straight out of the pool wet kids. Bring insect repellent or citronella candles ( it’s Florida, the mosquitos are no joke)
Many four bedroom homes have a room with bunkbeds and that would not suit our needs. This property had beds that suited our age groups more. There was a Pack & Play as well as high chair and it came in handy. The baby gate provided wouldn’t work with the height of the stairs and we had a 1 and 3 year old with us. We used the pack&play to block the stairs. No problem.
Alan was very quick to respond to text messages immediately after check in and up until checkout. He was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely rent this property again or others from the same owners.
