Short 5 days in cala dor at this lovely first floor apartment.. Wish we had more time. Great social balcony area and all the living facilities you will need. Pool was great to relax around and it's a short 5-8 min walk to the marina with lots of great restaurants to choose from. 5 minutes drive to nearest beach but there are 3 more within 10 minutes to drive to

Fantastic apartment

Great location, giving diff options for evenings out, short walk to the marina, then onto Cala d’or centre or over to Cala egos. Beach mile away. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, well equipped apartment. Great door locks so no stressing about keys. Pleasant communication with property manager. Thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful apartment.

Cala d’Or Marina stay

Very comfy property with pool towels as well as plenty of bathroom towels. It’s not very near a beach but the buses are very handy and we caught the Cala d’Or bus to Cala Esmeralda and also the same bus going the other way to Cala Mondrago, very convenient. Plenty of bars and restaurants along the Marina which was a short downhill walk. So if you don’t want to drive, it’s in a good position

Pretty good stay except for the few hiccups.

Started a little rough. Booked on VRBO & immediately sent a message to the owner. Based on prior reviews, expected a prompt response. It didn’t happen. Waited 2 weeks, no response. I called VRBO and they suggested cancelling. They tried calling the owner and reached him. I stuck with it and sent another message, again no response. How do you ignore messages on the site you post with? I called myself, reached the owner which now left me feeling a little more comfortable. We started messaging through WhatsApp and had good communication after that. Seems a little odd, but if you aren’t going to communicate through the site, say so. And if you prefer WhatsApp, say so. Anyway, we arrived and the place was very clean and in a great location. 2 minute walk to the port and a short two minute drive to the center of town where there is parking. Was also able to drive to two nearby beaches as well. Plenty of towels available as well as a beach umbrella. Patio was nice sized and great to sit out on during mornings and evenings. Pool was clean with good loungers to relax on. When we initially arrived, all the power was off at the electrical panel which was odd. It was like a sauna in there. He sent pictures of the panel but no explanation on what I should do. Eventually figured it out but surprised I had to manage myself. Couldn’t use stove and AC because breaker would flip. Overall, okay experience…until I was sent a message we were using too much electricity. Really??

Electricity is always switched off when no one rents the apartment, unfortunately the vacationer came from the USA and the fuses are apparently turned down in Europe with us turned up. But it was also explained to him via photo immediately after he contacted me. The air conditioning works perfectly, I tested it myself two days before, unfortunately the visitor left the air conditioning running around the clock even when he was not in the apartment. This increased the power consumption to twice the usual consumption, the holidaymakers who otherwise rent from us have an average consumption of approx. 20kW per day. With you it was over 40kW per day in the first few days. Thanks

Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt in der Anlage, der erste in der Wohnung von Holger und Viola. Insofern kannten wir die Facilities und waren wieder sehr glücklich im "Puerto 1". Perfekt für Familien mit kleineren Kindern! Vielen Dank und viele Grüße!

Great apartment in lovely complex

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The apartment was clean and well set up for self catering. The pool at the complex is lovely and convenient to get to Cala D’Or centre, the Marina and Cala Egos The host was also excellent in communicating with us about access. Highly recommend

The property feels like a home, all the things you need for your stay are there and it is clean and comfortable. Pool area is excellent and it is just a short walk to the marina. Would highly recommend
