Large screen smart TV in living room with leather couch and leather rocking chair. Large dining table and full kitchen with coffee maker. Garage is not available.

Everything was great except thw showers. They have hand held shower heads.. which are fine but when you place them in the holder shower sprays the wall ir the showe curtain out onto the floor.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is well stocked with everything and more that you need. It was clean, nice neighborhood that we took several walks in and had no concerns. Very easily accessible and will definitely rent again with David!

Perfect for a family stay

We were in Springfield due to my father’s illness and the house gave a perfect place to come relax with plenty of space and a great price. The owner was great to work with as well.

Our stay was September 19 -23We were txt on the 19, after we had arrived in Springfield, that there was no refrigerator . We thought no big deal, we usually eat out. Not thinking of cold water milk, leftovers and if we had planned to eat there and had food! What would we have done?They suggested ice and a cooler! We were also asked not to wear shoes in the bedrooms! Newer carpet, read reviews it was new in February if it was new yesterday, no a good request!House itself, beds great, clean. Very !! Old food in the cabinets. If the PB is still there. Don’t eat itHouse is older, but very roomy. Living room furniture comfy. Could use another chair. Can sleep 6 but only seat three in the living room. We often run into that! I txt the owner later suggesting a cooler be brought to the house or perhaps a mini fridge? No answer As we left he did txt that he refunded 50 for ice, inconvenience. I do hope they cancelled the visitors after us!

A Nice Home

We came to visit my mother in law who had just been put on hospice. Everything in the house was as expected The owner did not give up trying to communicate with us when we seemed to miss each other. Great location!Easy check in and check out!!!!

Best way to break away

I rented this home for a wedding nearby. It was nice to have a place to come home to and have quiet and a nice place to sleep after the rehearsal, prepping the venue, and enjoying my daughter (and son in law!) 's wedding.

Bathrooms need attention. Poor workmanship and water faucets set up backward in tub. Need another comfy chair in living room.

One of the showers did not work. It was a handicapped accessible tub/shower combo. Water comes out of the faucet, but not showerhead. Neither bathroom had GFCI plugs, and so the plugs did not work. We were unable to use a blow dryer, electric razor, or curling iron in the bathrooms. We were informed that the freezer didn't work the day before we arrived. I explained that it was less than optimal to not have ice for drinks or any frozen foods we planned on using. I tried asking if there were going to be repairs done over the weekend, and at that point, the owner stopped communicating with me. Also, there is overly expired food in the cabinets. There was open packages of food that are expired x 4 years. I don't know where the owner lives or how often he is there. But, his housekeepers should clear out expired food. We did not get rid of anything, since it wasn't ours. Overall, the house could use a little TLC, as it is an older house and things could use an update and minor repairs. Also, it would be nice to have an alarm clock in the bedrooms. I will say the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated. The washer and dryer are newer models and worked great. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and in a central location to get to anything you want to see. The family room/TV are good, as is the dining room table. Check in was easy and we got the lock code the day before.

Visiting with family in Springfield area.

Several items with house did not function to the normal expectations. The freezer did not make ice and no ice trays. The freezer would not even freeze bottles of water or our cooler ice packs. The hall bathroom shower would not extend to allow someone to shower, plus the stopper which diverts water to the shower would not function properly. Master bedroom toilet flapper valve leaked and the tank fill valve ran each five minutes causing noise which disturbed the bedroom quest from restful sleep. They had to turn off the water supply to the toilet tank to stop the noise. Overall, this is the worst VRBO experience.

Greater Ozarks Open Lodging

In town for the Greater Ozark Open. The house was as advertised, which is a good thing. We had an elderly gentleman so the ramp to the front and the one level house were great. Plenty of kitchen items to make a meal. No cable or satellite tv.

Good weekend spot

We were in town for a sporting event and the house was perfect for our needs. The house is older but clean and David was quick to respond when we needed something. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to necessities.
