It was a lovely location for family time. The views were beautiful. We were disappointed that the sheep were not available when we were there, but we did see other wildlife.

Great Weekend Getaway

My friends and I stayed here and really enjoyed our time! Everything was perfect and we especially enjoyed getting to spend some time with the sheep! We hope to be back next year :)

Amazing property and awesome accommodations!

Our six person family loved our stay! House was great for meals and card games! Amazing views and setting for walks and fires. Hosts were responsive and very helpful. Easy drive to Hornell and Alfred!

Great stay if visiting local colleges

We stayed here so that we could visit a local college. It was a great stay. House was clean and snacks provided. The house owner was very help due to Google telling us to get off to early but was easy to find after that. Would stay again.

Beautiful retreat

We stayed in this clean and comfortable home with our children to attend a nearby family wedding. We had a marvelous time! We absolutely loved all the vintage details in the kitchen, the stunning views and sunsets, playing outside and seeing the sheep. 10/10, I would come back just to stay in this home.

Wonderful scenery

For sure recommend!!!! Situated on a beautiful sheep farm in the hills of western NY, the scenery did not disappoint. The thoughtful hosts left yummy snacks and the house was fully stocked with anything you would need. Comfortable and clean, we’d stay again.

Michelle was a great host!! Easy to reach and super helpful with recommendations!! Definitely try Lains Cider Mill!! And the sheep!!! OMG! One of them walked right up to my husband to be petted! Overall wonderful experience.

The property is on a beautiful, peaceful street. We loved taking walks to enjoy the early spring light. Delightful views and plenty of parking. The home was very comfortable and spacious. Three good size bedrooms and plenty of room to roost and relax. Happy to have a kitchen! One of the ovens wasn't working for us, which made us glad there was a second although smaller one. We had not used VRBO before and were a little confused about the lack of communication from VRBO regarding our arrival but the host helped us sort it out. We were disappointed that the sheep were not there, as their anticipated presence was one of the main reasons we selected this location. It was very convenient to Alfred University - commencement was the reason we were in the area.

Winter Weekend

We rented the house to go on a winter dice run at Tall Pines ATV Park and had a blast! We had 3 couples and the house was great for us. The only thing that would have made it better was to have an additional 1/2 bath. One bathroom for 6 people was a bit tough but other than that the house is set up nice ffor famil

Perfect stay in a little piece of paradise.

100 acre farm with 50+ little newborn lambs running around nearby was so darn cute!!. We had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The kitchen had all the essentials and plenty of space to spread out in the home. Sunsets were incredible and the nighttime sky's were awesome. About 15 min from ATV park made for a perfect long weekend. We will be back. Thanks much!

Great for my large family

This property was a great fit for my family! We were in town for a wedding and lodging options are very limited with my large family. Three bedrooms were plenty for my family. Loved to open floor plan in the common area. We live in a major metropolitan area and the quietness of the country was so relaxing. The sunsets were amazing and I was even able to take some excellent night photography. The owner was very responsive when contacted and was a pleasure! I would highly recommend this property for a vacation away from it all! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place, cozy home

I couldn't get over how beautiful this part of the country is. If you, like us, prefer to stay away from other people and closer to nature, you should consider this spot. From here we took moderate drives to Watkins Glen and Letchworth State Park, so lower Finger Lakes region should be accessible. The house is clearly still a work in progress, but everything was tidy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, and our kids enjoyed the board games and books made available. We watched the sheep, but didn't have time to get up close, though we were invited to do so if we wanted. All told, we were really pleased with our stay and would recommend.
