This is a wonderfully unique rental. The pictures don't do it justice. There is a lot of wonderful art but the feeling from the house and the hosts is very welcoming. At the same time, it is very comfortable and well stocked. We were impressed that with all the art work it was so clean. Dennis and Juana are terrific hosts - responding promptly and treating us like welcome friends while respecting our privacy. We've stayed in many many rentals and this is a real stand out. Sitting in the gazebo, watching the rain was a high point of our trip, We cannot wait to return.

Most eclectic VRBO we have ever rented and well worth it. Adult kids had great Instagrammable/TikTok moments too! Great host and very communicative. Would definitely stay again!

I cannot wait to book this property again when I am in Tucson!I was having an issue opening the lock box, after multiple times of failures, Dennis stepped out of the main house and assisted. Friendly, provided us with the key and offered availability if we had any questions about light switches and such after we settled in!Stunning space, so ZEN!Mosquitos interfered with me staying outside longer (but that was certainly not Dennis' fault)!! My other guests sat out for hours crocheting and reading! We had everything we needed for meal prep. We have always stayed in hotels on Broadway, close to all the places we visit when in town, this was right in the same area. Grab bars near the toilet and the shower, rails at the front steps (only TWO steps) and they are NOT a high rise.I bought some neat Indonesian metal hanging mobiles (that were available through the owners) to remind me of the location. The A/C was set comfortably (although we had difficulty pulling the chain to reduce the speed in the bedroom, so we gave up and turned it off). It was still very comfortable!Next time I will need to plan MORE time at the house and not running around town! There is so much to look at and enjoy while relaxing. My husband is a photographer and I know he is going to love the photo ops!The beds were very comfortable and multiple pillow options!Quiet neighborhood.Your hospitality were much appreciated, we can tell you have put a lot of effort into this sanctuary!

These are by far the most amazing hosts we have experienced in all of our travels. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. All of the creature comforts provided made it way to show up and start enjoying Tucson. It was also in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with quick access to campus and the city. Highly recommend this location!

Exquisitely built and decorated the Bali House was an inviting place to stay and relax for a full week in Tucson. The bed was very comfortable, the outside space very inviting and private and the amenities more than adequate. Centrally located with access to the two Saguaro National Park sites surrounding Tucson, it offered very good access to hiking (the Tanque Verde trail on the Rincon side is exceptional), a number of city attractions such as the Mini Time Machine museum, the Botanic Gardens and numerous fabulous restaurants. We had a wonderful experience in the Sun in Tucson and were able to relax at the Bali House at the end of the day.

Great stay for a small group

We were in Tucson for our granddaughter’s graduation at the University of Arizona. The location was perfect and the house perfectly fit our needs.

Great Stay

We had a great relaxing stay at this unique property. The love that Dennis and Juana have poured into this unique property (little piece of Bali in Tucson) is very evident. Communication with the hosts was seamless.

Very cool home and looks exactly as depicted! Very comfortable and equipped with anything you might need! The hosts are so nice, helpful and quick to respond. We were moving our daughter into U of A and it was an easy drive over to the University. Nice neighborhood too!

A Unique and Beautiful Property

Filled with Indonesian art and artifacts, the house if fully equipped for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The outdoor spaces are as gorgeous as the house and are perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Super responsive host and very welcoming. Provided great recs for restaurants. So much lovely outdoor space as well as beautiful collection of art and furniture. Misha is a very friendly cat.

Best choice in Tucson we've ever made!

We loved our stay at The Bali House. It was a vacation within a vacation. The house is exactly as described - absolutely the most unique accommodations we've ever experienced within the Continental USA. Highly recommeded! We don't visit Tucson often, but would want to stay again when we return.

Transported!!

Short of going to the island of Bali, this was the next best thing! Beautifully furnished and decorated, with a large private garden to hang out in any time of day, our stay at the Bali House literally made us feel transported. We will be sure to book again when we return to Tucson in the future!
