Huge Beach Bungalow w/Yard, Beach Passes, 2 King Bds near Boardwalk, Restaurants

This huge, newly designed home has 4 bedrooms (2 king beds + 2 queen beds). It is a few minutes to the beach, restaurants, and wetlands. We have a private, landscaped backyard - perfect for dining and lounging. We provide beach passes, 3 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, games, and a Pack & Play. The shed has a huge TV with HBOMax and Prime, and a gym bike and yoga mats. The kitchen is FULLY equipped. Single-story living with 2 bedrooms, accessible shower on the ground floor.

The space

Gorgeous, recently renovated 4 bedroom house with four large bedrooms (two on the ground floor and two upstairs) and 3 full bathrooms (one has a bench and grab bar). Use the house as your base for local activities- including fishing, sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, biking and more. North Beach has everything and this is the perfect spot to enjoy it all!

Host dinners outside at home using our fully equipped kitchen and around a table under the stars; eat inside at around our gorgeous 8 seater oak table; or choose from our list of recommended restaurants or local activities. Relax afterwards on the front porch or back-deck; or even burn it all off with yoga or on the bike in our exercise room!

The house can sleep 8 adults (two king beds and two queens). With 3 full bathrooms there is plenty of room for everyone.

Other things to note

We allow dogs if we approve them. We have almost never rejected a dog but a few questions help ensure that our place stays clean and smelling fresh. If you'd like to bring a dog, please tell us:

(1) if they are 100% and reliably house trained
(2) the dog's age
(3) your dog's size/weight

We would really appreciate it if you could bathe your dog before visiting. There is a groomer called the Sudsy Mutt within walking distance of our place.

We have a pet fee of $25 per dog per stay, per night.

Lovely, Comfortable, Great Hosts

We had a winter overnight here and the house was so pretty and comfortable. Lots of bathrooms. We only used the first floor and enjoyed it a lot. Great Hosts

Home Away From Home

A lovely home. Excellent hosts. Comfortable, welcoming, clean and everything you need or want. The TV in the auxiliary building was perfect for watching games while others conversed inside. We will stay again when we can. Easy access parking.

Family weekend vacation

Great weekend trip with the family. We brought a wagon and walked to the beach each day, which was a perfect beach setup for small kids / family. Property manager was very attentive. Home was cozy and well set up.

Family summer vacation

Family Gathering

We had the most amazing week at A Haven Away! Reading on the porch or patio during the day and games every night with super comfy beds for a fantastic nights sleep! Downstairs rooms were perfect for the grandparents! All our needs were met and then some! Highly recommend!

Great Getaway

Our family enjoyed a convenient, cozy, and much-needed quick getaway from the hustling bustle of Washington, DC. North Beach has everything you need and is conveniently located within an hour's drive of the nation's capital. the house is spacious, well-appointed, and culturally rich. The house is elegant and cheerful. The decor gives a relaxing vibe. It has everything we needed for the stay - ample supply of toiletries, kitchen utensils, towels, etc. Very dog-friendly. We loved that it's not too close or too far from the boardwalk, just the right amount of walking with the dogs. Highly recommended!!

Thanksgiving in North Beach

Nadia and Blair were lovely to communicate with -- from suggestions for getting a turkey dinner catered and restaurants to handling little issues that arose. They were extremely timely and helpful.

Great spot

Stayed here for a wedding that was 15 minutes away. It was perfect! Clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated. Nadia was very attentive to anything we needed - which wasn't much but she gave us lots of advice of places to walk to for coffee, lunch, beach etc. North Beach is a very cute area. If we ever were in that area again I'd definitely book this again.

Great place for family beach vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is a pleasant ten minute walk to a great beach, playground, bakery, coffee shop, ice cream, and several good restaurants. The owners were incredibly responsive, sending emails to remind us of the farmers market, to follow up quickly to requests, and to ensure a pleasant stay. They could not have been better hosts. The house was clean and well-equipped. We’d love to come back.

Perfect Place!

Great location, very clean, lots of space for all. Came here for a short getaway with my fiancé and our pup. Our first time in the area, the home is conveniently situated near waterfront, restaurants, shopping, and nature trails all within walking. Neighborhood is quiet, and well lit for safety during evening walks. Home has beautifully appointed decor and could not have been more clean and organized. Kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials and more. Plenty of games and books. I enjoyed that the TV is located in the auxiliary shed, which kept us focused on spending quality time, yet still provides a cozy space to unwind with a movie later. Hosts communication is stellar, even though ours lacks a bit as we ignore our phones as much as possible. Greatly enjoyed our stay in this home and will certainly book again if in the area.

Charming and Clean

Everything about this stay was awesome from the communication and information from owners, to the cleanliness of the home, great location, spacious for guests, comfortable beds, and more. We didn’t even get to enjoy the cute backyard and shed which I believe had a tv and additional seating. I bet it would be nice in the spring/summer.

Relaxing vacation spot!

This was the PERFECT vacation spot for our family! We felt welcomed from the get go by the hosts, Nadia and Blair. The house itself is beautifully kept and a great layout for families. We have six - five who are adults), and all had their own spaces and bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare any meals, and the grocery store was under 20 minutes away. The town itself and the beach were within walking distance from the house, and it was lovely, low key, and the folks there were very nice. It wasn't overrun with tourists, and while the beach isn't a swimming kind of beach, we were able to kick back relax, and play some volleyball in the water and hunt for shells as it wasn't super crowded. I would highly recommend this property - we are picky about where we stay, and the owners did a fabulous job of taking care of us as well as making us feel at home from start to finish! Relaxing Dog-Friendly Get-Away

Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and full of amenities, this house was a vacation in and of itself. Everyone found their favorite spot and had a relaxing time, whether in the lofted library area or the backyard shed with the enormous tv and cozy sectional perfect for watching movies or March Madness. We appreciated the dog-friendly aspect, with the fenced front (and back) yards and the close proximity to the nature preserve trail and boardwalk.

I grew up on a farm in the UK as part of a big family and was taught from an early age how important it is to take care of visiting guests. I started hosting my apartment in Washington, DC in 2012 when I started traveling for work and I haven't looked back since.

My wife and I design, set up, and manage our properties on our own! We'll be directly in touch with you throughout your stay.

We bought this house because we fell in love with North Beach and wanted our home to be here. We set up this home as our own - you'll be able to tell by how comfortable and well-equipped it is. The street is quiet but close to town. You can see the bay from our front gate!
