Questo affascinante cedro scandole cottage sulla spiaggia si trova a pochi passi da Long Island Sound con gradini che conducono alla sua spiaggia privata. Il casolare è circondato da un ponte di legno perfetto per guardare i tramonti spettacolari ... ogni notte, una tavolozza unica di rosa, azzurro e viola ... come il sole scende in acqua davanti ai vostri occhi.

Il cottage ha una cucina completamente attrezzata abitabile con lavastoviglie e forno a microonde.
Il bagno moderno ha una cabina doccia.
Il soggiorno, con ventilatore a soffitto, ha finestre che si affacciano sul Long Island Sound e una porta scorrevole in vetro che si apre sul ponte. C'è un televisore HD con ricezione satellitare, lettore DVD e VHS e Wi-Fi.

Un barbecue, sedie a sdraio e tavolo con ombrellone sono disponibili per migliorare la vita all'aperto.

La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale e letto a castello; la seconda camera da letto ha un 2 set di letti a castello. Entrambi hanno un ampio comò e armadio.

Una lavatrice e asciugatrice si trova sul posto.

La zona circostante è una comunità spiaggia con caratteristici cottage e strade percorse leggermente perfetti per andare in bicicletta e camminare. C'è pesca eccellente in un vicino stagno di acqua dolce - o si può navigare lanciare destra fuori del ponte!

Great place for a long weekend!

We had a wonderful few days at the cottage. The kitchen was well-equipped and loved the patio. Loved to listen to the waves! Great location near wineries, restaurants, and farm stands! Very quiet neighborhood when we were there. Enjoyed evening and morning walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets.

A Wonderful Stay!

The cottage was just perfect. It had everything we needed, was tidy and right there on the beach. Joan was great and we'll definitely be returning. There is only one queen bed and 6 twin bunks, so it's great for a family with kids and not ideal for a bunch of adults, but it still worked out well. Thank you Joan!

Perfect North Fork vacation spot

We return each summer for a week to this heavenly spot. We relax on the deck overlooking the beach while the kids frolic below in the sand and calm sound waters. Paddle boarding is perfect as is swimming. Long walks along the beach right from the cottage are great in both directions. The cottage is comfortable and has everything we need. Barbecuing on the deck while watching the sunset is a daily ritual. There's a lot to do with families in the area: the carousel, the goat farm (watching the goats being milked) and fruit picking. So many wineries are nearby too. But mostly we don't want to go anywhere when we are there!

Relaxation at its best!

We stayed here this October. This cottage is right on the beach with an exceptional view! Not far from Manhattan at all. Perfect weather even though it was October, you can go down the stairs and for a run on the beach or watch the sunset for total relaxation. The wineries were up the road for all day tours and at night there is a strip of local restaurants with oysters and catch of the day. Overall this cottage was more than welcoming and in the perfect east end location. I would definitely rent here again!

Location, location, location

I have rented this cottage both this October and last October with my family, including my six year old son. It is the most wonderful location we could have imagined.The deck hangs out over the beach where high tide comes right up to the deck. It is on a quiet, dead end street where the houses pop up amidst mostly natural dune vegetation. The Montauk daisies completely surrounding the deck in October are in full bloom, and are stunning with a hint of fall color in the air. Ample seating on the large deck allow you to relax and enjoy the view. The cottage is cute and very comfy with a well stocked kitchen. The beach below is very quiet and great to walk along in both directions. Get some wine from one of the many local wineries, and some local goat cheese or great fresh seafood from Southold Fish Market to enjoy on the deck and you won't want to be anywhere else.

All You Could Ask For!

Spent the Labor Day weekend here for my brothers 30th birthday surprise celebration. It was everything, plus more that we could ask for. We were three couples (26-31) looking for a time to spend together and enjoy the beach, which you are literally steps away from. The cottage was comfortable, clean and neat! It is close to Greenport and all the wineries. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could imagine for BBQ-ing. (spatula, tongs, knives etc). The outdoor shower was a great touch for washing the sand off your feet! It is a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy peace and quiet as well as the company of friends, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings the north fork has to offer. Joan was great in facilitating every aspect of the rental too! We plan to go back again!! Oh and the cross breeze was so soothing it could put a crying baby to sleep!

A slice of heaven

I rented the cottage for 4 nights in August 2010 and it was wonderful. The LI Sound is your backyard and the sunsets were breathtaking! The cottage has everything you need and was very comfortable! A short drive to all the vineyards and wonderful restaurants. I would definitely recommend it and I plan to return myself!

Truly a Home Away from Home!

My daughter, son-in-law and I just returned from a deeply relaxing weekend at this delightful beach cottage. The house is fully equipped, spotlessly clean, light-filled, and cooled by the sea breezes ( or by AC, if you prefer). The place is utterly charming with colorful dishes, paintings and seascape decorations. We felt welcome and at home immediately; the owner had anticipated guests' every need. The proximity to the water is fantastic. We enjoyed local lobster rolls from the Southold Fish Market on the deck and spent a lot of time swimming in the Sound. One tiny problem was the spotty wi-fi; I would suggest bringing a wireless laptop card. Overall, this was one of our most enjoyable Home Away experiences!
