This property was excellent in every way! Great location close to downtown and lots of great restaurants plus being secluded in a very private area. The house was beautiful with lots of windows and multiple decks, very clean and I appreciated that everything we needed- towels, linens, garbage bags, paper towels/toilet paper and cooking equipment. Communication was clear and straightforward for check in and check out. Great price and perfect place for our family of four. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was our third visit to this beautiful mountain house...love the porches, the mountain view, bed linens and the living space. We were visited by a young bear and 2 raccoons! We are looking forward to next year's vacation!

Great location that’s minutes from town but feels secluded and in the mountains. Everything was perfect for our needs and expectations. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

This was the perfect location for our long weekend trip. We were in the woods but also so close to town. Easy access to grocery stores and all Asheville has to offer and yet we were off the beaten path in the woods. We did see a mama bear and her tiny cub when we were driving up the road. Would stay there again!

House is good, clean, good views. Beds are comfortable. The driveway is tricky because it’s a pretty steep narrow slope which involves reversing down when going out. Overall a good short break although we chose what turned out to be the wettest weekend of the year! ( We did need the rain though)

Beautiful views and very peaceful. Lots of outdoor space with open air and screened in porch. The beds were good, but note that the king sized bed is upstairs so the younger couple had to take that one. We couldn’t haul our luggage up. The downstairs bathroom was small and toilet was low and keep a plunger nearby! The kitchen is adequately stocked. The only negative was the sound on the tv. We watched movies and had difficulty understanding the dialogue. For lazy days this is a great retreat.

Basic rental that does the job. As noted in description road to rental is gravel and steep and fairly uphill. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Plan on bringing any paper goods plastic bags foil or anything like that as it was not provided unlike many places. Home was not “dirty” but needs sprucing up. Dirt in corners baseboards and walls dirty. Carpet worn etc.

Think this vacationer was overly critical and did not give an objective review. Of the past 39 reviews, the average was 4.8 stars, versus this individual's 3. Would encourage any potential vacationers to read several of the past reviews and not rely on this one. Paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, and garbage bags are provided.

This cabin was perfect for 3 women! Beautiful views ! Very cozy with the gas fireplace and comfy seating. Everything was clean . We would definitely stay here again! Driveway is a little tricky!

This is a beautiful place to stay. We really enjoyed the place, found it very peaceful and quiet, and found it to be a great size for 6 of us. Also the location was extremely convenient and we were able to get everywhere we wanted within 10-20 min.Communication was very clear and quick. We had a question about the property ahead of arriving and Grant responded right away to support!The only things that could be improved are the coffee pot, maybe a little bit more in terms of shampoo/soap options, and then the hedge going from the subdivision to the street was really obstructing the exit so it was a bit treacherous to leave the place. I would absolutely come again.

It was a wonderful place to stay! Plenty of space, beautiful views, wifi worked great, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet all around us so we slept great all three nights!
