Belle maison de 5000 pieds carrés sur le lac tranquille à Alexandrie

Bienvenue au chalet McCabe sur le lac Henry. Nous l'appelons une cabane, mais avec 6 chambres, 3 salles de bain et plus de 5000 pieds carrés, c'est plus une maison au bord du lac. Que vous recherchiez un endroit assez grand pour une réunion de famille ou un endroit assez intime pour un petit rassemblement, la cabine McCabe est le choix parfait.

Nous avons commencé à le louer à des amis et à la famille à l'été 2008 et nous avons eu une réponse tellement positive que nous avons décidé de l'étendre à la saison morte et à des locations plus spécialisées telles que la réservation de ferraille. Our group (ranging in age from 12-76) had a lovely stay. This was our second year staying here, and we continue to enjoy everything the home has to offer. The home is exactly as pictured in the listing. We especially love the outdoor spaces—gathering on the back patio each morning and spending time later in the day on the lakeside patio. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. The sauna is also a fun feature in the evenings. Our only concern was the air conditioning. The temperature was not distributed evenly throughout the house. The two smaller upstairs bedrooms became quite hot, even with all the fans running. Meanwhile, the main floor stayed comfortable, and the basement was very cold.Overall, we had another wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Perfect setting with beautiful views of the lake. Plenty of places to sit and visit outside. The free pontoon was a big plus. Great fishing, nice swimming, fantastically relaxing sauna, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for everyone.

Family Vacation

House was great for a big group of all ages. They had a lot to offer, games, toys, large lawn, great patio for fires or sitting outside, and the pontoon was great! The lake was also great for bass fishing or just trolling around! We will for sure stay again!

Great place lots of room pontoon was excellent for fishing caught walleye and bass. Kids loved the paddle boards and swim platform. Great kitchen and grilling. Great outdoor space bikes and ping pong table had a great tourney. Thanks for all. Would suggest at least a double bed in the main floor bedroom.

Beautiful Cabin on the Lake!

This property is huge and was extremely clean in every room. The bedrooms are all spread out so you don't hear other people. The cabin was very well stocked in the kitchen as well as in the bathrooms. We all enjoyed staying here and are sure to come back!

Great Getaway

We had a great time here even though we got snowed in a majority of the weekend. Plenty of games and movies to watch in your down time. Town is not far away either if you want to go check out any local shops. Would love to come again!

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed here for our annual family trip with my parents, my brother’s family and my family (10 people total). It was spacious and quiet. The lake is very peaceful. We loved all the cozy spots to gather both in the house and outside. We really enjoyed the terrace area down by the lake. There were enough chairs in each area to accommodate the whole crew- including the dining table. Had fun taking out the pontoon to swim in the middle of the lake, laying out on the swim raft, paddle boarding around, and going in the sauna. The kitchen was outfitted with anything we needed and having the extra fridge was a definite plus. We absolutely loved our stay!

Family Reunion

Girl's Trip

This was a girl's trip to the Alexandria, MN area. The house and grounds were great. Plenty of room for everyone. The house was very well furnished and had a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

A great time with family

We had a great time. We fished off the dock, biked the nearby trails, golfed, dined and just spent time together. The Sauna was a big hit. Accommodations were great. We got to meet Mickey, the host. It was a pleasure talking with him. We hope to make it back!

Family fishing trip

The property is beautiful. There is plenty of room for a large group. It is well stocked with games, books, kitchen and bath basics. The kayaks, pontoon boat and sauna were great. We enjoyed bonfires under the stars and had a wonderful family vacation. We came to fish and did end up going to a larger lake for better fishing.Overall a great experience and we would come back.

We purchased this home in 2005 and have not been able to use it as much as we had hoped so we decided to rent it out during the weeks that we are not there. It's located on a quiet lake within walking distance of downtown Alexandria MN.
