Everything was perfect. The home was just as described. The host was very responsive and friendly. Our family of 4 had a lovely week’s stay. The resort is very beautiful and relaxing, and the noise level is low. Short walk to the Shops at Wailai where there are great restaurants.

This was an ideal location with an excellent view, a very clean unit and surrounding grounds, beautiful pools, and incredible access to the ocean. The unit was well-furnished, comfortable, and spacious.

Great condo for our stay!

This is a terrific location and we loved the proximity to the beach and pool - though you had to walk through the parking garage to get there. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance as well. The condo was very clean and well appointed, though the dishwasher needs to be serviced as well as there is not an ice maker. The listing states beach chairs and beach towels, however this refers to only what is provided at the pools and beach property. It would have been nice to have had chairs available to go off site, but we rented from a local store.The lighting is also very dim at the back of the condo, but since most of our time was in the living area and outside, this didn't post too much of an issue.Our stay was overall wonderful and we would certainly consider staying here again when we return!

A True Paradise!

We loved every moment of our stay. The unit was beautiful and clear--everything we expected and more. Having access to a kid pool directly below was awesome, and the beach was a convenient 3-5 minute walk. We hope to visit again!

Stunning Maui home away from home

We really enjoyed this property. Especially the view of the ocean! The unit is very well supplied with every possible appliance You would need in the kitchen. We enjoyed the location of the property, close to the mall and the beach.

We stayed in this condo for 9 days and were disappointed with the overall condition of the unit. While the location is good and the space has potential, there were numerous issues that affected our stay.The towels and sheets had a strong, mouldy smell, and the towels were so musky that we had to go out and buy our own. After our first 4 days, when the cleaning staff came in to change the bed sheets, they found a nighty in the bedding that wasn’t mine — extremely unsettling and raising further concerns about cleanliness. The dishwasher didn’t clean properly, the knives were all very dull, and the patio doors were extremely difficult to open and close. None of the speakers in the condo worked, and the washing machine is very old and loud. The sliding doors to the den were also off their guides.A number of items were broken or not functioning, including the blow dryer. Both shower doors leaked at the bottom, and the toilet in the small bathroom was plugged. Even small details like the clothing hangers were of very poor quality.When we checked in, several drains were already plugged or draining very slowly, including in the master bathroom and the kitchen. We had to call maintenance twice. The building itself is around 20 years old, and many of the appliances and features are clearly overdue for an upgrade.This condo needs a significant amount of maintenance and updating. With proper attention, it could be a much better rental.

The living area has three deep benches . No chairs or sofas. No side tables. no decent lanai seating. Called and emailed manager about dishwasher - no reply.

Amazing Wedding Week

We chose this property initially for its location. Close to the wedding venue, golf, shops and restaurants. What we didn’t grasp was how gorgeous the property and the grounds are. Everything is top notch and the villa is spacious with stunning views. We will certainly come back!

Family Dream Vacation

Unbelievable views, private elevator to your room, easy access to the facilities and beach! Plenty of room for our 18, 16, and 12 year old kids. Grill on balcony was amazing! Very clean and or family couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. This place was a dream.

Luxury and convenience

On the positive side: Beautiful view. Very well equipped. Extremely accommodating service. Comfortable beds. The most convenient location for shopping and beach. On the negative side: The almost nightly loud entertainment events at neighboring hotels prohibited sitting on the lanai.

Get location. Condo had all the things you could wish for. Wish we knew that pool by beach was adult only. Other than that amazing property. Great location. Super clean.

Amazing property in beautiful Wailea

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the wonderful staff who helped our party of six get checked in and settled into our unit. The place had everything we needed and was very secure with the private elevator. Beautiful view, beautiful property, beautiful experience. We hope to stay again next year.

A wonderful place to stay

We have stayed at Wailea Beach Villas a few times, but can happily say that this was the nicest apartment we have stayed in. The furnishings and decor are lovely and the kitchen had just about every appliance you get ever think of. And of course the setting could not be better - beautiful view, lovely gardens, great beach and easy access to shops and restaurants. Thanks for letting us stay - we will definitely be back.

Fantastic place

We stayed 7 days in the unit. Nicely furnished/decorated, fantastic kitchen with cooking tools, great views. Super responsive staff. Very clean. The complex is ideally located to walk to all area amenities. As a first time visitor to the area, I was surprised that this whole building is called the Penthouses but the unit was on the 3rd floor of 5. Worked out fine though and never heard a sound from any neighboring units (above or below). Great security with a private elevator to the unit and to underground parking. Highly recommend!

Beautifully Furnished with Gorgeous View

Our family of five stayed here with my 78 year old mother. It's a gorgeous penthouse with underground parking space included. The furnishings reminded us of Bali, with lots of heavy, dark wooden furniture and woven baskets everywhere. The lighting was dim so it was a bit difficult to see for those of us over-forty. When we arrived, there was a bowl with a pineapple, 2 papayas and bananas for us! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home (coffee maker, but no Keurig). The view was gorgeous, as were the gardens and ponds! It was humid outside the week we stayed, so the a/c was appreciated. Our only complaint was the daybed. We unfolded it into a king sized bed for my kids to share. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortable due to a metal bar underneath the mattress so kids had to sleep horizontally so the bar lay between them, but the bed was not level, but slanted. (It is probably more comfortable as a twin daybed.) There was also little space in the room when the daybed was pulled out to a king. We could not open the armoire or access the desk. I would say that this place sleeps five comfortably, not six. It was a nice walk to the beach, but a difficult one (down many stairs) for my elderly mother so we opted to have the concierge drive her to and from the beach and pool in a golf cart. The concierge was very friendly. This property is gated all around, making you feel very secure. There is a private entrance to the Shops at Wailea from the property. You don't even have to cross a street. This was very convenient, as there is a market as well as several restaurants. The property is located along a beach path, making for scenic walks in the morning. Directly in front of the hotel is a beach and shallow reef with colorful fish. Around 1:00 pm, you can swim with turtles who swim across the shore to find food. We enjoyed walking to a luau next door one night. Outdoor showers, towels and sunscreen were provided at both pools, which was nice. There was a mid-stay housecleaning, which we were not aware of until our second last day staying here. (Until then, I had been washing and drying towels and keeping the place clean.) Having a washer/dryer was a plus! There were some aluminum beach chairs for us to take with us when visiting other beaches, which we appreciated, but no beach toys. I give this penthouse five stars if it weren't so expensive and were on the beach. We had a very enjoyable time! Mahalo!
