The views from the cabin were as advertised, breathtaking. Accommodations were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and check-in was a breeze. The hot tub took a small amount of communication with the host to get up and running but was worth the effort. The landscaping around the property was overgrown but this was only a minor inconvenience. Will definitely be back.

Excellent comfortable cabin with an exceptional view of the surrounding mountains. Perfectly enjoyed from an exceptional patio. Only thing that was a disappointment was that the hot tub was not cleaned nor powered for our visit so we decided not to use it. Despite that would absolutely book here again.

The place was beautiful with great views. The house was well stocked, very spacious, and had nice amenities like the pool table downstairs. When we arrived we tried to find a notebook to help understand how to operate things like the jacuzzi and other features but there was not one. I messaged the host and never heard back. In fact, the only messages I received were from a bot with the standard messaging like check-out instructions.However, the limited communication did not take away from the beautiful place. We enjoyed cooking, had several fires in the fire pit (the gas pit was broken so we used the other wood fire pit), and thoroughly enjoyed the views.

I wanted to give this property 5 stars. And for the privacy/views and the home itself, it is a 5 out of 5. However, when we got to the home around 5:30 pm Monday, we found that the AC system was on the fritz and had “service” on the thermostat. It remained at 78-85 degrees the entire stay even with the exterior being down to 45. Had to open up at night just to sleep. Also, the two main ad pics on the site show the hot tub and fire pit. BOTH were not working. The pit had rusted out and the hot tub would not heat above 80 and had far too little water for the jets. For paying what we paid for just 3 nights and not having the main amenities along with having issues sleeping with the heat, I can’t give it higher than a 2/5. Very disappointed.

We loved the cabin. Close proximity to linville gorge area and the house has spectacular views, and is VERY clean! We loved the house and plan to return!

Beautiful home

Majestic views and a gorgeous home

This home was worth every penny, super clean, well stocked and amazing views. The home is stunning, and very comfortable and we will definitely be back. There are many attractions within a short drive but you won’t want to leave the beauty and comfort of this home.

Picturesque and high quality.

This place has spectacular views and is high quality and well maintained. The hosts were super-friendly and helpful. As the name Hawks Neat suggests, it’s.located up some steep curvy roads to reach hieghts with great views. Well furnished accommodations made through stay enjoyable. We would love to return for another stay.

Great family mountain fun!

Wonderful grandiose and well stocked home for entertaining friends or family. Awesome views , outdoors , game room, and hot tubbing. The bedrooms on each floor give plenty of privacy. Great time away from the daily grind. The host was very available.

Beautiful and relaxing!

Highly recommend! House is beautiful and comfortable and the VIEWS! You’ll want to catch the sunset from the back porch. Beds were all very comfortable and plenty of dining areas to choose from was awesome as well. The owner communicates very well and is very quick to answer texts/questions.

Family fall getaway.

Our family had an amazing time at this well stocked cabin. Awesome views greet you as you look out the many windows or as you relax on the wrap porches. Our evenings were filled with fun and competion in the gameroom. Was a great way to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary with our family. Overall experience was fantastic.

Beautiful. Secluded. Mountain View - fantastic. SUPER CLEAN.

Everything about rental was quick and easy. House is beautiful and stocked with everything you will want for your stay. Very relaxing. Only downside is spotty cell reception. No fault of the rental… just the area. Would rent again. Loved it!

This is an awesome home, highly recommended

The home is fantastic. It is clean, with high-end appliances and furnishings and spectacular mountain views. The manager/owner was helpful and immediately responsive to our questions. The home is equipped with everything you could want and more. We were visited by small bears, deer and roving bands of wild turkeys. We highly recommend this property.

This cabin had all the amenities. Fully stocked kitchen... everything you could possibly need. If you happened to forget to pack something, there's a good chance you'll find it there.
