Perfect for 1-5 people. This is a fully furnished guest 2 bedroom/1 bath house w/ full kitchen and has nice tropical foliage around the yard. Amenities include free Wi-Fi internet and a Sony Dvd player that provides you access to your Netflix, Vudu and other accounts. Parking is FREE on the left side entrance thru gate.

This is a Hawaiian Style 2 BR/ 1 bath house has a fully equipped kitchen. (Pots, pans, plates, utensils and linen are included.) Bedrooms have fresh linens and towels. Bathroom includes amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and soap. Fresh clean towels are located the bathroom as well as in your bedrooms.

Great Puna location

Wonderful property that made me feel like I was staying at my friends cool Hawai’i house. Kitchen had any utensil that I needed and the living room was warm and comfortable. Delicious star fruit on the trees too. I would definitely stay here again.

We did enjoy our stay but I could see this being a bit of a problem house for some. It is a nice house and property but I think the grounds and outside could be a little tidier. As for the inside, it was cool to cold at times. We didn't find extra blankets except for on the other bed in the kids' room, the coffee maker was acting up, the hair dryer didn't work and just little details were missing.Overall it was a good stay because we don't require much. A good coffee maker so we could use the provided k-cups, a few blankets and perhaps a space heater or two would've been nice additions.Lastly, if we were to use any of the equipment for the beach we would've had to clean the mold off it all. Masks, snorkels and I am assuming everything else was covered! We didn't use any of it. This home seemed to have been forgotten a little bit.

I'm sorry you had some issues. I have since arrived back on Island to address these issues and have fixed these concerns. There is a heater in the front room. You need to turn it on from the switch on the side. The snorkeling equipment is suppose to be cleaned and sanitized after use, however unfortunately guests just throw it back in the bin. The grounds have a new grounds keeper, so that problem to has been solved. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've been in the mainland taking care of my 90 year old mother and was hoping things could run smoothly without me here.

Tastefully decorated Hawaiian home

We had a great time at Valerie's house! It was decorated in Hawaiian style, and had all necessary amenities. It's located in a quiet neighborhood - we felt safe, and had a lot of privacy. You can explore the Hilo area or the Volcano National Park without having to drive all the way from Kona.

Lush & Lovely

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and had every amenity we needed. We loved the neighborhood. Our friends lived just down the road so we went back and forth quite a bit. Hope to go back and do it all over again. The Coqui were loud at first but soon we got use to them and we became quite found of their singing. It is a tropical paradise for sure.

Beautiful home and location

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is ideal and the house is confortable. The back patio is nice to enjoy a cup of coffee outside (even in the beautiful Hawaii rain) and the kitchen is set up well for cooking. The comforters are rather thin, and a on a few chilly nights we did end up needing extra blankets. This was our first time on the big island, and we loved the location of this home.

A quiet getaway!

The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved having dinner and breakfast out on the lanai. There is a close town about a 5 minute drive from the house with some cute and delicious bakeries and restaurants. Hilo is about 35 mins away, a perfect place to get away from it all. The owner was super kind and nice. She definitely made sure that we felt comfortable at the house. We will be back!!
