Getaway from the Midwest

Our stay at the Villa Mirage was a wonderful experience! It is a great location with easy access to get all around Scottsdale. Starting with the owner, Bill who made sure we had all the info we needed and that we could contact him if we had any questions. He followed up upon our return to make sure all went well. Our check in was seamless, and the resort staff were all helpful and friendly. The weather was a little cool so we were grateful for the heated pool. Our grandchildren loved the activities center and participated in their craft times. We also took advantage of the shuffleboard and pickle ball. It was an awesome week and we look forward to going back!

Great Property Manager

Bill was so easy and accommodating to work with. The property did a great job with Covid precautions. Resort was nice and clean but the rooms were a little dated. Besides that the stay was fantastic and I'd recommend it for anyone wanting a fun family vacation.

Excellent resort

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa Mirage. This was our 2nd stay at this resort and it didn’t disappoint. Communication with the property owner, Bill, was excellent. He made sure to check in with us prior to our arrival to confirm all was in order as well as during our stay to be sure we were doing fine. Great vacation choice!

Perfect vacation spot!

We couldn't be more pleased with our recent stay at this Scottsdale suite! The apartments were clean and spacious and the kids had plenty of their own space too. The swimming pool was beautiful, the fitness center was state of the art, and there was even a bar/ restaurant onsite which served delicious food. The kids had plenty to do with outdoor games and movie rentals and of course the pool. Bill, the owner, was wonderful and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful!

The property was perfect for us - we had a two bedroom which had a large living room and a full kitchen. The pool was great for the kids with a hot tub next to the pool. The kids really enjoyed the waterfall which is turned on in the middle of the day. We didn't have trouble getting chairs at the pool but we were typically down there by 9. Bill was great to work with - the unit and resort were exactly as he described. The staff at Villa Mirage were very helpful, especially to our son who kept going to the front desk to get different sports equipment.

Great Service Great Resort

This was our second time renting at the Villa Mirage from Bill. On both occasions he was very helpful and informative regarding the booking process and the resort itself. He put in our special request for the unit we wanted and we got it with no problems. Bill is trustworthy and will do all he can to meet your needs and requests.

Support above and beyond.

After 2 previous late cancellations on other properties by a different owner, it was refreshing to find a dedicated renter who went that extra mile to support our needs in finding accommodation. Bill's efforts included not only requesting and following up on the specific unit we wanted, but ensuring that all matters in regards to the booking were confirmed with the resort. The resort exceeded our expectations for accommodations and amenities and we would definitely return and use this resort again in the future. Thank you for the great support Bill.

Great Value

We enjoyed our week at Villa Mirage very much. The unit was larger than we expected, it very clean and the beds were very comfortable (even the pull-out bed, which is a first). Everything was there that we needed and they brought us extra towels when we asked for them. The pool area was great and the food was surprisingly good. Enjoyed using the tennis court as well. We were travelling a fair amount (including a couple of days in Sedona and the Grand Canyon), so we weren't able to take advantage of all of the amenities at the resort. But, we thoroughly enjoyed it and the location was perfect in terms of being close to so many restaurants and stores, the highway, etc. Bill is a very conscientious owner.

Spacious ~ Comfortable ~ Spotless

Excellent value for deluxe accommodations in perfect location. The resort is within walking distance of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, a short drive to Westworld, home of the Barrett -Jackson classic car auction and Scottsdale Arabian Horse show. Near freeways, shopping and restaurants. My favorite stop was Tom's Thumb, gas, car wash, bakery, cafe and gift shop all in one! Our two bedroom, two full bath unit was comfortable, fully stocked with plenty of elbow room. Bill went above and beyond to accommodate our dates, and was readily available to answer any questions. We hope to make a visit to Villa Mirage an annual tradition!

Very nice condo

We stayed in the 2 bedroom lockout during our week long stay. It was spacious and was enough room for our family.n the grounds and pool area were very nice. The unit was updated and very clean. The location of the resort was very convenient to shopping, restaraunts, activities and the airport. Would stay here again!

Fantastic, Friendly, and Sunny 5 Star Spring Break

This property is a time-share property with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. The grounds and pool are beautiful and the units were clean and comfortable. It's everything you want for a family vacation. We had a 2 bedroom lock-out and it was perfect for my family of 4. With two teenagers, it was nice that they had their own space to enjoy as needed. The staff will ask you to sit in for a time-share presentation to earn free gifts at check-in, but all you need to do is say no thank you and they don't bother you again. There was no pressure to do it. Working with Bill, the owner, prior to the trip was an absolute pleasure. This place was everything he said it would be and we would absolutely consider this property again.

5 Stars all the way

Complex is easily accessible from freeway and close to stores and shops to pick up supplies. Many restaurants in the area as well. Place felt like a resort and the management had activities around the pool every day. Condo itself was nice and spacious and well stocked with items needed for cooking. The gas barbeque area was used numerous times. The lobby serves free coffee which was also a nice feature. In addition sandwiches, snacks and drinks can be ordered poolside. Bill (the owner) was very easy to work with.

Spring Break - Family Vacation

We rented a 2 room lockout for my husband and I and our 2 kids (12 & 14). The resort was very clean and overall was well kept. The staff was very friendly and accommodating at both the front desk and at the poolside grill. It is a timeshare and they do ask at check in if you wish to sit through a presentation, we opted out of doing that and weren't bothered by them at any point thereafter. It is not a brand new resort - but was in good condition (both landscaping and interior) - everything was clean (and they clean on Tuesdays during our week stay - which was a nice surprise (bed made/refreshed kitchen towels, etc.). The pool is temperature controlled - so was very nice that not too cold in the morning or too hot later in the day. They have activities daily and those are posted on a board by the pool and on a schedule at check-in. It isn't so loud or distracting. I did water aerobics one day and it was a good work out. I was happy to have the poolside grill for a snack or drink (they have daily drink specials). There was an outside area with putting green, bocci ball, shuffleboard, etc. that my son enjoyed (putting). It's located near the Fairmont Princess Hotel - is a beautiful environment to walk around. My husband ran every day and the concierge offers various jogging/walking trails showing differing levels and lengths. Highlights included driving up to Sedona (did the pink Jeep tour) - 2 hours driving up and over the red rocks. Also went to Spring training (Cubs). Walked around the ASU campus in Tempe (located very close to the airport) - so did this on our arrival day (since check-in is at 4:00) and had a nice outdoor lunch watching Final 4 games. Another highlight was hiking Pinnacle Peak which is just a short drive - we hiked at sunset and it was truly gorgeous. It was a wonderful trip with many options. Bill was very helpful and responsive to all my questions before booking and truly wants to make sure you are satisfied. I only wish the pool was a bit bigger! We had perfect weather and so many options of things to do. Great trip!

Amazing Spring Training Family Vacation

We stayed a week for our yearly spring training trip and I can honestly say this was our favorite place to stay so far. We rented a 2 bedroom lock out unit for my husband, 2 young children and I and we had more than enough space to call the place home. Although not as new as some other resorts, it was clean, spacious and well appointed. The resort not only has a great pool but also tennis courts, a playground, grills and outdoor games...my boys were in heaven. We were close to restaurants, grocery stores, hiking and best of all spring training games. This is a timeshare and the concierge wasn't the friendliest when we chose not sit through a presentation but everything else was great and wouldn't take a star away :) We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic family friendly sun vacation

We stayed in a 2 BR sleep 8 condo. We had 3 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of room. Ground level unit across from the new play park where kids could play at their leisure while adults sat on patio. Our favourite part is the family friendly pool area where adults and kids can relax and enjoy the sunshine and water. What's great for families is the organized games and activities around the pool which our kids loved (such as pool side bingo). As a frequent traveller with kids and a picky person in regards to pools (since that's where we spend most of our time), we can't stand it when resorts don't spend the extra money to heat their pools to a comfortable level. Nothing worse then enjoying the sun them cringing as you slowly enter a cold pool. Not a problem here. Also, there exists no silly anti kid rules such as no kids in the hot tub (as long as they behave!). There exists an adult only hot tub in another area. Outdoor games area with putting green, outdoor shuffle board and fire pit was also a hit. This was our fourth time to the Villa Mirage but first time renting from Bill. We plan to come back. At this time of year Scottsdale is the perfect temperature. Even "cooler" days were beautiful as we find they get hardly any wind. Lots to do and see outside the resort as well. But if your looking for family friendly resorts in Scottsdale that won't break the bank then look no further then the Villa Mirage. And rent in confidence from Bill.

Enjoyed the sunshine at a great resort

Scottsdale Village Mirage was all that website described. Great location just off Highway 101 with easy access to hiking at Pinnacle Peak and Cave Creek and downtown Scottsdale for restaurants and art fairs. The 2 bedroom lock off was perfect for us. With our kids and young grandchildren, having the queen hide-a-bed plus a queen bed in the second bedroom was a deciding factor in our decision to rent. Very spacious for the 6 of us We enjoyed working with Bill and felt comfortable renting directly from the owner. The staff at the activity center were children orientated and the girls enjoyed their painting projects. We all enjoyed our late afternoons at the pool Would definitely recommend to friends.

Spring break was perfect!

A great spot for a break from a cold and snowy winter. The resort was even better than described with a great room and resort amenities that had something for everyone to enjoy. Our two teenagers loved the pool area for sun tanning and time in the water. The resort is easy to find, just off the freeway, but it is in a quiet location. There are lots of restaurants, shopping and golf courses nearby. Easy access to spring training stadiums for the baseball fans. The owner did a great job of communicating with us about the resort and making the renting process very positive. Walking into the resort the registration process was friendly and efficient, more front desk representatives than most hotels and another positive experience. There were lots of employees throughout the resort and they all were friendly. On our last day there were lots of sad faces leaving for the airport. A wonderful time and we are looking forward to staying here again.

Great spot!

We stayed 1 week at the Scottsdale Villa Mirage, and had a great experience! The unit was terrific--very spacious and well appointed. We also had a view of the pool and mountains in the distance. Our 2 young children enjoyed the pools and hot tub. Bill was also easy to work with, and made sure any special requests were handled in advance with the property. Only downside is that the building doesn't have elevators, so consider requesting a ground floor unit if you have trouble with stairs. Would recommend to our friends!

Perfect!

Our stay at Scottsdale Villa Mirage was perfect during our trip to AZ to catch up with friends and take a much needed break from the mid-west winter! We had four adults and two children under the age of three and the accommodations couldn't have been better! The condo was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped for eating in when need be. The children's pool was a perfect place for us to spend sunny afternoons. Resort staff were helpful and friendly and the resort itself was pristine. There were many wonderful restaurants nearby and quick access to the 101 allowed us to easily get to friends, go shopping and attend a baseball game. The condo owner was easy to work with and sincerely wants his guests to have a great time. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay at the Scottsdale Villa Mirage!
