First of all. Live and dead roaches in kitchen and bedrooms, crawling in kitchen sink we had one crawl over food while preparing to cook, granddaughter had one in her bed Both propane tanks to gas grill and fire pit were EMPTY, ice maker broken, pool table but no tips on cue sticks, rotten outdoor furniture. ( trust me I sat in a rocking chair and hurt my back when bottom fell out) Over an inch or more of pine needles and leaves on all decks where gas grill and gas fire pit is. ( I was worried about snakes and catching the place in fire grilling) had to sweep off everything with an old broom we found. Good luck parking on the driveway if you have more than one vehicle, very inconvenient single drive no turnaround, place looked haunted on outside with all cobwebs in windows. I took pictures!!!

We stayed for a fishing tournament, so we didn’t stay on property long. Teens enjoyed the pool table. Very clean. We arrived after dark so driveway could use lighting for ease of parking.

There were plenty of things to do in the area. The house was amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Very roomy! Owner was very good with responses to questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant place

Had a nice time. Enjoyed the hot tub. Quiet and peaceful. Swam at the community pool. Lakes were too full because of the rain but overall had a good time.

Perfect spot for a getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house was perfectly located for my husband’s fishing trip and the girls enjoyed antique shopping in nearby Jasper. The house was clean and the layout worked great for us! The pool table was an added bonus! We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck in the evening and morning coffee on the front porch watching the squirrels play! Thanks again for letting us stay in the Boathouse! It was perfect!!

Weekend at the Lake

Overall everuthing is what we expected. Only advice I would give is more trash bags, toilet paper and make sure all lights work. These were small inconveniences which did not affect or enjoyment. Owner communication was very quick.

Great stay!

We loved the cabin! Super clean and cozy! The king bed was super comfy! Anything we needed was supplied. We would definitely stay there again but was not easy getting in and out of driveway with our F250 four door with a 21 foot Express bass boat. The driveway is narrow and makes a turn to get under carport. Other than that we would totally stay again but trying to not get in grass as requested was a challenge. The cabin itself is amazing and would recommend

We enjoyed our stay we ate out the whole stay so didn't really use the kitchen but we will not stay at this location again but they have other properties I would like to check out here are the cons, driveway is not made for boats you have to back in a narrow uphill path, the hot tub needs some maintenance , the mosquitos were bad so the little kids could not play outside much, the wifi does go in and out and we d goutoutside,

The home was pleasant and well stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. I was surprised that we had to bring in ice and drinkable water as that feature on the fridge wasn't operating. The only negative about this property were the wood roaches. I'm from the area so I understand it's inevitable that you will see a few. Upon entering the home we found 10 dead roaches on the floor that we had to dispose of. It was apparent the home had recently been "bug bombed". Perhaps it could've been done earlier in the week so we didn't have to pick them up.

Was nothing like the description. There is a NO lake front, you cant get to the lake without having to be a member of the rayburn country club or trespass through someone's yard, there is no hot tub, the pool is for members only as well as the beach bar in the listing. the grill is a fire hazard as it is caked with drippings and has tin foil on the burners, couldn't play pool without buying new pool sticks as the ones supplied are broken, the grilling deck has boards that are no even fastened down so WATCH walking on there, the front deck that wraps around is rotten and weak in some places, the rocking chairs on the deck are rotten and falling apart. The wifi didnt work even after resetting router as in the notes. The bathtub/shower in the master bedroom took hours to drain so we bought a drain snake to try to clear it. The house smelt very moldy upon entry (tried masking the smell with air freshener best i could). The kitchen didnt everything needed ( dish soap, dish scrubber, pot holders, dish towels, paper towels) The cabinets in the kitchen have mouse dropping in them. Dinner table is sticky even after wiping multiple times. A good bit of the lights throughout the house dont work or flickers, a couple of the vents are hanging out of the ceiling with mold around them, masking tape around the fans from painting, The driveway isnt boat trailer friendly its Very narrow. If we hadn't paid so much we would have left the day we arrived.

It was ok

Not totally impressed to be honest. The set up was super cute and there was a beautiful from the front porch for sure. The listing said there would be laundry soap available (there was not). The coffee maker did not have a pot and it and the other cookware had to be washed prior to use because they had food in/on it with mold growing. There were only 2 trash bags available so I had to make a list of things to go get for the remainder of the trip. I couldn't find any cleaning products (broom, mop,etc) and nothing to clean cabinets with. There were spider webs all through the house that we cleaned off on our arrival. And, yes, it is within walking distance of the lake but everywhere that there was access to the lake was covered in seaweed and clay so it was not swimmable. We did go to the pool which was fun, but we went for the lake and we're unable to access it to actually get it.

It was a perfect getaway clean rooms. The kitchen was perfect for camping. It had everything that I needed I had one little problem the hot tub which was not cleaned and it was not hot so I didn't get to go and enjoy it. Besides that, everything was perfect for a getaway
