Not worth the hassle

Owner double booked the property, automatically took payment, then over 36 hours later told me to find another place to stay for a night until he had the place made available. Had to contact customer support to get a refund because he would not process a refund voluntarily.

Unsafe entrance, cigarette smoke, dirty

Entrance was down a muddy slippery hill to a rear basement entrance. Had to roll suitcases through mud to entrance. Almost fell while going down this unsafe hill. Apartment smelled like cigarettes. Hair on bathroom sink where someone shaved. Apartment was not cleaned. Booked for three nights but only stayed one night and found something else.

Disappointed

Once you get to the apartment the inside is very adequate but as soon as we opened the door, the air freshener was overwhelming. This is of minor concern. Getting to the door is a safety hazard. We had to descend down a slippery muddy steep hill filled with slippery roots. Trying to navigate luggage down the grade of the slope is impossible. Slipping, falling and breaking a bone is very possible. Prior to checking in, I contacted the owner and expressed concern with one out of two of the reviews on the place. It did not rate the place with even a medium score and mentioned that the place was dirty and the hill was muddy.. The owner assured me that if we did not like the place he would issue a full refund. I have that promise in writing. He has not responded to my requests for a refund nor does he seem to care about his reviews.
