We did not have WiFi our first night and the Host was unresponsive. They finally replied after 12 hours once I said people were leaving and that I had escalated the issue to VRBO. Imagine 11 people unable to watch tv or stream on their devices during a rainy Memorial Day weekend. I’m sure this isn’t their normal service, but it still made for an annoying experience to deal with especially because I had to PUSH my case for a partial refund for the first night.Noise travels easily through walls and floors. Half the group slept with ear plugs for the rest of the trip. Just something to keep in mind if you’re extra sensitive. On to the good stuff. Can’t say the positives offset the negatives, but the house served well in some areas. - Clean house. Kitchen was stocked fairly well with basics. Bring your own knives though.- They provided 6 rolls of TP? Not nothing, but maybe a little light for 11 people over 3 nights. It rained a lot that weekend so maybe they didn’t anticipate us being indoors for a majority of the time? Anyway we got extra TP. - Good communal areas (living room, kitchen island, and dining table).- We got to enjoy the fire pit for a few hours on our last night when the rain started to lighten up.- 30-second walk to Fellow Mountain Cafe for fresh bread, butter, coffee, beer, cheese. - 1-minute walk to an antiques shop called Rust Diamonds & More.- 6-minute drive to restaurants.- Nice 1.6 mile loop if you want a quick run around the block.
