Great location! This BEAUTIFUL home is perfect for large groups and families! Lots of fun to be had in the backyard - a pool, firepit, outdoor dining, cornhole, jenga, plus an original midcentury mural as a gorgeous backdrop for your photos! Large open living/kitchen/dining area & 4 bedrooms / 3 full baths for 8 guests! Even an office space with a monitor, keyboard, & printer to plug into! Just minutes from the airport, ASU, Spring Training, Phoenix Open, Downtown Phx & Old Town Scottsdale!

The space
Welcome to the perfect home for your visit to the Tempe/Scottsdale/Phoenix area! The open floor plan is perfect for larger groups, with a large living room, kitchen, and dining area. The dining room table has seats for 10 as well as 4 stools at the kitchen island/bar. Just off the living room is a den/office, complete with a 32” Apple monitor, keyboard, and printer that you can plug into! Close the barn doors for additional privacy to work in peace. The home decor is mid century modern meets traditional Haitian art to create an environment that is both sophisticated and warm!

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and an attached full bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower in the hallway as well. The third full bathroom with shower is located off of the living room, across from the laundry room that includes a full-size washer and dryer. The second bedroom can accommodate two additional guests in a queen-size bed. The third bedroom also has a queen bed, to accommodate two additional guests. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds, to accommodate two additional guests. The living room, along with the master bedroom, feature smart TVs with a Roku and all smart TV apps (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, etc). There are plenty of mirrors throughout the home so that there is plenty of space for large groups to all get ready at the same time if needed.

The colorful backyard is great for fun and relaxation! The yard features a large, diving pool complete with a diving board, a firepit, an outdoor dining table, an outdoor sofa set, lounge chairs, an umbrella, corn-hole, ping-pong, and giant Jenga, not to mention a gorgeous mid century modern themed mural for those Instagram photos! Relax under the bistro lights in the evening and enjoy the weather that Arizona is known for! The doors leading to the backyard are safety doors (require two handles to operate and you hear a tone sound when they open) for peace of mind with your children. The front driveway even has a full-size basketball hoop, ball included!

If the home is ready before 3 PM, we can allow an early check-in for a fee of $75.
Late checkout, if available, has a fee of $75. Please give 24 hrs notice when requesting as this will need to be scheduled with the cleaning crew.
$100 fee for smoking in the house. No smoking near open windows/doors. Don't leave evidence of smoking outdoors to avoid extra fees.

The house was perfect for our stay. Beautifully decorated and well appointed. Comfy beds all around and plenty of space to gather. The pool and outdoor lounge area were great! Loved the colorful designs. Sarah, our host, was very quick to respond to questions before our arrival as well as during our stay. We highly recommend this spot for your next trip to Tempe.

Excellent stay in the valley !!

Property was everything and more. Spacious home had plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy our visit. Beds were quite comfortable and we loved the master bath. Property has been updated with new appliances, flooring, etc. Neighborhood is very quiet yet convenient to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

Great spacious house..

Had a group come out for Fiesta Bowl and needed a big place to hang out when not at game. The place was great. Plenty of room inside and out. Wish the weather was better so we could have used the pool, but overall a great experience. Communication with Sarah was quick and very easy.

Great Spot

This house was perfect for a long weekend getaway. Plenty of rooms for people to spread out and 3 bathrooms with showers which was very helpful. Only negative is lack of plates option along with the pool not being heated. It is very cold when not during the summer months. But this is all negated by the amazing property manager. I have never had someone nicer and easier to deal with!

Amazing Stay (from picky renter)

Our family of 6 had an amazing stay here. House had everything we could ask for: comfy beds and linens, close to ASU (visiting for graduation), stocked kitchen (keurig, toaster, plenty of plates, pots/pans, etc), clean, plenty of room for 6 people, great pool/yard/games. Full length mirrors, office space and laundry room. Did I mention clean :-) We ate, lounged, played games, hung by the pool, grilled - all of it. I believe Sarah has thought of everything: soaps, dish and laundry detergent, mirrors - lots of very thoughtful touches. Quick responses to questions. Would give 10 stars if possible!

Why they chose this property

My partner and I both live in the home part-time. As traveling artists and university faculty, the proximity to ASU was ideal, and the home was turnkey perfection! We have owned the home for 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed making it perfect for us and our guests. We love the neighborhood and how easy it is to get around in any direction (right in between multiple freeways). Our vision was to create an artist live/work space, and are happy to say that we have hosted artists from all over the world!

What makes this property unique

Dorsey Lane BnB will take your breath away as soon as you open the front door! We hear it from guests all the time that the pictures do not give it justice! The home is stylish, yet comfortable and warm. The amenities are all quality, and the attention to detail, impeccable!
