Serendipity by the Sea is a beautiful vacation rental located in the with a private gated community of Kiwanda Shores in Pacific City, Oregon. The open-plan living space and wall-to-wall windows allow for a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the Haystack Rock. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms this spacious house can accommodate up to 8 guests and two dogs. This home features a fully stocked kitchen, hardwood floors and a patio leading straight onto the sand. Come see what adventures await you at Serendipity by the Sea!

The open-plan living space includes a living room with cozy sofas and a gas fireplace, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen with a beautiful hardwood island. The living room also features a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. Serendipity is a one-level home – no pesky stairs to climb up and down! The primary bedroom features a king-size bed and a full bath with an ocean view that is the perfect place to lounge in the jetted tub. This home also features a guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed as well as a kid's room that houses four twin bunk beds. A full bathroom is also located in the hallway.

Around the back of the house, there is a large oceanfront patio. Also provided is a pickleball net and paddles and court markers for use in the driveway and a beach volleyball game called Crossnet. This is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset after a long day of playing on the beach!

Shred the Coast! Just minutes away, the Pacific City Skatepark offers world-class fun for all ages. Designed by the famous Dreamland crew, this concrete playground features a unique "Dory Boat" bowl—a nod to our local fishing heritage. Pack the skateboards and let the kids burn off some energy with a view of the dunes!

Please be aware that during storm season the sand dunes in front of the home may rise and obscure or partially obscure the view.

The location was great. Appreciated the gated community which required a code to drive into. The beach access was the best part. Open the back door and the beach is yours. The queen bed in the second bedroom definitely isn't fun to sleep on. The master and the ensuite was great. Some privacy around the hot tub would be nice. The TV and the internet was great. All in all a great vacation house!

The property was clean and the location was amazing. The views from the living room were beautiful and the primary bedroom had windows facing the water so hearing the ocean waves at night was relaxing. The hot tub was so much fun and the jetted bathtub was big and felt so relaxing, my very tall husband could actually stretch out his legs. It was perfect! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was nice and big. It was the perfect end to the summer.

Great home right on the beach for a small family getaway. We have other family who live/own a second home down the road and enjoyed the fireworks from the back patio and simply watching the waves, both inside and out, all day.

The location right on the beach is amazing. Whether sitting on the deck outside, or inside the family room with its huge windows, the view is what sets this home apart from many others. Our family of 7 could all lounge on the large couch together, not something that most places have. The kitchen was well equipped. Appreciated being in a gated neighborhood, and even had a deer come up right up to me one evening on a walk. From the deck overlooking the ocean, we watched a pod of whales while soaking in the hot tub.

This house is in a great location and the view is beautiful.The house was not super clean when we arrived, there was a rawhide dog treat on the kitchen floor and mold around the shower door in the master bathroom. The coffee maker was old and not washed, obviously just rinsed. When I told the host about it they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were not clean either. That was disappointing.The second and third bedrooms are very small. Not much room to move around in them.

The beach view was spectacular, beach access was perfect. The weather was amazing The hot tub on the deck was our favorite. There was no salt in the kitchen so we supplied the house with a few things to help the future guests.

It’s a great, idyllic beachfront location. The property itself is nice, but the issues driving this negative review are centered around lack of cleanliness. Upon arrival there was sand in and on the beds (master bedroom and bunk beds). There were cigarette ends in the cupboard underneath the sink and that created a potent odor in that area. Several dishes had food stuff still smeared to them. The overall lack of cleanliness was so disappointing for the price point. I understand beach front rentals during peak season come at a premium, but over 1k a night for the level of cleanliness received doesn’t correspond. The location is obviously the strength of the rental and central reason for staying there, and it seems as though areas such as cleanliness and general upkeep can be sacrificed some as it’s not going to affect rental take up or hinder seasonal pricing levels. Subsequent to the stay we advised management of these items and their verbatim response was “you are most welcome”, so that was a bit disappointing. We still had a wonderful time and the cleanliness issues weren’t going to impact our time there significantly, you really just want a little more care put into these areas when you’re paying what you’re paying to stay there.

Beachfront beauty

Photos and description are accurate - Pacific city gets better every year - house was immaculate and beautiful, access to the beach does not get any better - thank you! I will be booking this house again. I didn’t bring my dog this time, but it’s pet friendly which is a bonus.

This property was very nice and enjoyable to stay at especially the ocean views. We all enjoyed the hot tub as it was raining most of the time. But we had a great time.

Love the Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was there was no shade in the guest bedroom and I had to put a blanket over the window for privacy. Otherwise it was good.
