House is well equipped with everything you would need. Great proximity to local beaches and amenities in town. Met the owner who was very nice and chatted with them for a while we were outside and they gardened. Our dog loved the yard.

Fantastic stay!

Robin was a great resource about the area. Her property was amazing the cottage was fantastic. Very comfortable and clean. We had a relaxing stay and a great time. We would love to go back again and again!

Great Location! You could walk a mile to the beach if you wanted to. So many restaruants in the area as well. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and with linens. Definitely pet friendly property. The home was clean (bathroom, kitchen) but there were a lot of spider webs throughout the place and the ceiling fans were very dusty (to the point that I didnt want to turn them on)Overall, great place.

Wonderful Cottage

We had a marvelous one week stay at Robin's cottage. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient and close to many points of interest, 5 Minutes to the beach, half an hour to New Haven or Gillette Castle. Thanks so very much

clean and charming cottage

The cottage was clean, bright and cheery. All new amenities and really well laid out. AC was functioning perfectly along with all other utilities. SO close to beach, restaurants and shops!! Very convenient location and really easy to find!! I give the owner and property a 10/10 and would definitely recommend to friends/family~

Beautiful little place with everything!

Our host Robin made her “gardeners cottage” into our little home away from home with plenty of well stocked towels and sheets a cozy and very well equipped kitchen and possibly the best space economy for comfortable sleeping I’ve seen. Added to this was her obvious great taste and knowledge of color scheme and art, and this made for a really lovely stay! Close to Madison and Hamonasset so we will definitely try to return in warmer months!

Gardners cottage

The gardners cottage was a wonderful place to stay for 2 weeks while house being renovated. Robin was a very responsive host - communication with her was easy and timely which was appreciated. The cottage is as described and was a quiet respite. The gardens and flowers in the yard are beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the outside area in the evening. Location was convenient to shopping, highway, etc. Would definitely recommend.

Sweet Home, Cottage Connecticut ~

I honestly can't say enough good things about this sweet cottage surrounded by beautiful flowers and nestled in the cutest town... My kitty cat and I needed a place to stay for two weeks during an apartment renovation--and now we never want to leave!! Clinton is a perfect coastal village, with everything from a post office and wine shop to delicious lobster and the best library ever. I felt at home here from the first second and now it's truly difficult to go...Robin is a wonderful, responsive host and this cottage has hot water, a comfy bed, great work space, and a kitchen with all the fixins'! We hope to make this our home-away-from-home with many more visits in the future. What a gem--thank you for everything!!

The cottage is adorable. Cottage is next to the home of the host and there is a shared driveway. The yards are also shared. Cottage was decorated well, lots of nice details and care taken in selecting items for the interior. Kitchen had dishes, pots, pans, all that one needs to cook, as well as a few things to take your meal with you to the beach. Check in process was simple, door was left unlocked. Linens had not been cleaned, so the first night because we discovered the linens needed washing so late, we were too exhausted to wash them- had to put down a towel to sleep on top of the linens due to the pet hair/unknown hair/etc. The next day we washed the sheets and pillow cases on the bed and day bed and slept well that second night. Cottage was close to the beach, close to the shops and restaurants. It took us just a few minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go.

Robin is an excellent host, very accessible and responsive. A lovely person who loves her flowers. The cottage is adorable, perfectly appointed, exceptionally clean and pet friendly. The gardens and yard are lovely and very well cared for. Summer color filled garden beds and vegetable garden make this a bird and bee paradise and the water feature in the patio is very tranquil. Conveniently located to town and many pet friendly destinations including a dog park you the road, the perfect place to come for a restful retreat with your four legged friends. We loved it as did our dog so we will be back!

This was the perfect rental for my husband, myself, and our two pupper dogs. It is very close to his parents house, and we had every comfort of home. We will be booking this cottage for all of our cisits to CT!
