About this property
Life is good on the farm
This is more than a place to stay. It is an experience. We have horses, goats, chickens, and often other animals. In the spring, we usually have babies to play with (Baby goats and baby chickens) If you’re into riding horses, send me an inquiry and I will give you the deets. There’s a fire pit so you can melt into the night and roast marshmallows while watching the stars of the Milky Way. Close to State and national parks this rental is well placed. Big and roomy there are three bedrooms with queen beds.there are two twin, roll-out mattresses and an ottoman that pulls out into a twin bed. The kitchen has a stove top, air-fryer toaster oven, plug in griddle, rice cooker and a crockpot, plus all dishes, pots, pans and utensils you could need. Also a Keurig coffee machine. I supply fresh eggs when I have them.if you want them. The space This space is in my daylight basement apartment. It has its own entry. You never have to see anyone. Your privacy is secured as the ceiling is made of steel beams, rebar and cement. There are games, books, TV and a fireplace. We have also added a bonus game room. Guest access We are on five acres and you are more than welcome to meander everywhere. There are benches throughout and a tire swing. You are also welcome to say hi to the chickens, horses, ducks and goats. They will all treat you like a rockstar, especially if you bring them food. The wire around the horse pen is hot. So step inside, with the horses to say hi to them. They love carrots and apples. Only 1 or 2 each though please. Other things to note There is also a washer and dryer in the space. Yay! New addition!

We love everything about our stay at the farm. We especially enjoy visiting and feeding the animals. Rhonda was great. We couldn’t have asked for better.
Such a perfect spot for families with kids! Between the game room and the animals and the swingset our kids were never bored. This location also always seemed to be quite a bit less hot than Springdale (assuming due to elevation) which was a plus. The beds were comfy and the shower had great water pressure. We did a day in Zion and several stops at Kolob Canyon which is SO close by (also less crowded and just as gorgeous as the main Zion area). Ask Rhonda for directions to her nearby secret hike, it was epic!! Overall our stay was perfect for the price!
The host was amazing! She spent significant time with my granddaughter (6), allowing her to help her with feeding the animals. The place was perfect for our family. Having a game room was quite a bonus. Very comfortable with beautiful surroundings!
We had a fantastic stay! Beds were comfy, all areas clean, and the animals were just a big bonus! The host were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again next time we are hiking in Zion! Thanks for having us!
Wonderful stay! Comfortably accommodated the 5 of us. Loved the animals, they were so sweet! Our host was amazing and gave us great info about the sites in the area. Highly recommend
We stayed at Life Is Good on the Farm for my son's requested birthday trip to Zion. The apartment was conveniently located near Kolob Canyon which eas a fantastic hike. Rhonda was a gracious host who checked on us intermittently to ensure we had everything we needed. The space felt cozy and was a great place to relax after long days hiking. It was stocked with all the basics we needed for a week stay
We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays! We enjoyed the peaceful farm atmosphere and appreciated the convenient location near the park. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!
Our family really enjoyed the game room, the living room (perfect gathering space for family), and the animals. Thank you for such a unique and memorable stay 3
Loved the communication with our host - loved the location which was super convenient for the things we wanted to see. Loved the "home" feel of our lodgings.
This is a true gem. Rhonda was so nice and accommodating, from providing fresh eggs and letting our daughter collect eggs from the chickens and pick raspberries and a cantaloupe from the garden for her breakfast, to feeding the animals and sharing local advice for hikes in the area. The space is large and very comfortable, and my daughter loved the extra games available to play as well! This was a truly wonderful stay and so glad that we found it!
Rhonda and Bart were gracious hosts, and were able provide an exceptional property, with hands on ranch experiences. Very nice ammenities and home. Loved it.
It was great at the farm! The place is nice and cozy. We loved the game room and being able to horseback ride and feed the goats. Getting freshly laid eggs is great too. The location is fantastic for Brian Head, Parowan Gap, and of course Zion! We absolutely recommend this place. Rhonda and Bart are great hosts!
Thank you for a wonderful long weekend!! Everything was BETTER than described and we felt right at home. The beds are super comfortable, very functional kitchen and living area. Convienent location to the kolobs and an easy drive to Cedar city or St George or Zion area. Our favorite part was visiting the chickens, goats, and horses. We can’t wait to come again.
Loved our stay in this quiet little valley near Zion. Even better than the pictures. Great kitchen and living area and even though the game room is under construction, and the kids still loved it! Also, they loved feeding carrots to the goats and the horses! The biggest downside was the distance to Zion, but if you don’t mind the drive, it was a fantastic place to stay.
