Property, host and location were impeccable. We were traveling with our elder parents and were looking for a central location as a home base so we were able to jet off to Adare, Cork, Kilkinney, Blarney Castle, Kinsale, Doolin/Cliffs of Moher or even local attractions to include our favorite Whiskey Still/Lough Derg. Would recommend Jeannette’s 4BR home or her “being built” 2BR home next store.

Our family stayed here during a 3 day wedding in town. Was an idea scenic quiet location. Jeanette was very kind and accommodating. Lovely cottage.

We rented for one month and it was the time of our lives. Jeanette and Steve are fantastic, The location was great to see all of Ireland. The home was great for three couples and the host helped with places to see and pubs to go to. Whiskey Still became our go to and Joe and Rita even made a special meal for us. I think this would be great for large families or like us, two or three couple's to use as home base. So much better than a bus tour. Again I can't say enough how great the host are! I would rate this 100%. We drove 2900 miles from this location and saw (according to locals we talked to) more of Ireland than most people that were born there. Did I say how great Jeanette and Steve are? This is a can't miss.

Thoughtful Hosts and Lovely Property

Spacious country house convenient to restaurants and markets. Huge lounge upstairs perfect for movie watching on a rainy day. Loved the open kitchen and fireplace in the living room.

Jeanette and Stephen are amazing people that make you feel like family.

When we return to Ireland they are definitely our first choice for accommodations. The house is a modern four bedroom three bath home with everything you will need. The setting is as gorgeous as Ireland can be. I highly recommend this venue.

We were two couples and the cottage was very spacious. No small rooms. Plenty of seating. The beds were very comfortable. A wonderful kitchen with all of the amenities. Three baths that were very nicely maintained and very clean. Our stay was 10 days so the laundry was used a few times. Our hosts stopped by a couple times when we had a few questions and they were very pleasant and super attentive. Emailing with Jeanette was great with quick turn-arounds. The property was very nice, quite and a great place to relax with cows in the distant pastures. Lawns were very well maintained. We would definitely recommend this cottage as one of the best.

Beautiful Home in the Country

This is our 3rd stay here. The setting is wonderful. You see the cows heading out to pasture every morning from the living room windows. Very peaceful and scenic. The house is immaculate and has everything you need four your stay. The owners are so nice and friendly and were always available for questions or suggestions. We highly recommend!

Definitely a home away from home

Absolutely superb location, property, home, and hosts. Best part was the attention to detail and us that Jeanette and Stephen paid. This home will not disappoint. There were 8 adults and a 6 year old we were never in each other’s way. We will return one day.

Wonderful property in lovely area.

The property was better than described, being large, comfortable and with wonderful views. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Jeanette and Steve, the hosts, are delightful, being very welcoming and helpful. The area is new to us and we were surprised how close everything was and how much we enjoyed it. Beautiful, peaceful country home

Great place to spend our five week stay in Ireland! It felt like home for my husband and I along with our six children. The home is cozy and spacious inside and beautifully decorated. Loved seeing the horses pass being exercised along the road. We enjoyed eating at the Thatched cottage often and felt like regulars by the end of our stay. A great central location for making day trips to Galway, Cork, and Limerick. Jeanette and Steve were wonderful host, very friendly and prompt in answering any questions. We hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful property on beautiful property!

Very lovely home set in the countryside. The property was just minutes from the charming town of Ballycommon, which hosted a terrific pub and restaurant. Nenagh is nearby to provide you with anything you need. The spacious house was spotless and well-equipped, as well as being beautifully appointed. Loved the large TV room being upstairs. Set on a quiet country road, the only thing you'll hear is the occasional "moo".

Wonderful !!

Just Beautiful!! Inside and out! I loved staying there. Watching the cows being moved from one pasture to another. I hosted a Birthday. lunch for a few of my cousins . So much room. It was fabulous. I saw Jeanette at a near by restaurant . Was so glad I could tell her how happy we all were with her beautiful home!☘️

Great location and fab house

Easy booking process , owner replied to messages in a timely manner . Photos didn’t do justice to the actual house it was lovely. Very relaxing . Location was great for travelling around but we did stay local a fair bit and ate at some fabulous local restaurants. All equipment needed to self cater in the kitchen . Lots of spare pillows , throws and towels . A very relaxing place with fabulous views and owner close by if you need anything . We will definitely return some day .

Breathtaking!!!

Cozy cottage nestled in a peaceful and tranquil community. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the nightly visit from the farm cat we named "O'Conner." Great local eateries and people. Great location located centrally to visit all tourist attractions and adventures.
