The Space:

This property features a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating for six. The living room includes a sectional couch and a TV for your enjoyment, with the couch also opening into a sofa bed to accommodate an additional two guests.



The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with ample closet space for your convenience. The unit’s patio has a large dining table for 6 and hammock.

Comfy Condo

We really enjoyed how quiet the area was, but how close to stores and restaurants we were. Playa Penca was beautiful and the pool had lots of shaded areas and seating available.

The welcome basket was nice, and the overall property was nice as well. It was a bummer the hot tub and bath tub in the unit did not work. The beds are very very firm, we were a bit sore after 3 nights on then. The gate is very secure but be ready to wait to get in or out if they take a break. Upon initial arrival they tried to turn us away but after we kept telling we were supposed to be there they let us in. The in unit laundry was great, the kicthen was very functional. The AC unit has a mind of its own, likes to turn itself off frequently but stayed cold when you could keep it on. We all the paper towels and TP ect which was nice, and the linens were good for sure.

This was a very comfortable, clean, quiet and secure place. A few minutes walk to the beach with grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy and 2 beaches in walking distance. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were comfy. The apartment was small but good layout, just a little dark. The porch was nice and we loved the pool. The washer was malfunctioning but the management was quick to respond and brought our dirty clothes to be washed which we really appreciated. Overall a very pleasant stay!

The installations are in great conditions, clean, comfortable, the only thing I will add is a top to the garbage can, because with time that can impregnates the whole house with bad smell. The common facilities are in excellent conditions. The nearest beach, La Penca is a white sand beach with mostly calm water that have the Bandera Azul price, meaning is a clean beach.

Peaceful & friendly but needs some love

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second rental we've stayed in at Casa del Sol. We love the location, friendly staff and community vibe. This unit however needs a lotta love and care. It was very clean but the furnishings are dated, worn and the living room sofa/loveseat have clearly seen some water damage at some point. A/C seems to struggle a bit and doesn't appear very efficient. The unit upstairs from this one is outfitted much nicer in my opinion.
