The cabin is only minutes from skiing areas (Windham and Hunter mountains) and some of the most beautiful hikes in the Catskill Mountains for all skill levels. CD Lane Park with sports facilities, a swimming lake, and free kayak rental during the summer months is in easy walking distance. This dog friendly house features a large fire pit and both gas and coal grills, a porch and terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, and AC in the living room.

The review is somewhat surprising, as all of the necessary information was provided well in advance of the arrival. Jigme also called to ask for the information I had previously sent, and I reminded him that he would need to have it readily available upon arrival, as there is no network service in the area. It is unfortunate that his stay was not as pleasant as it could have been. I had made every effort to provide clear and detailed instructions through VRBO as well as through my personal messages, so that he would have everything he needed for a smooth and comfortable stay.

Great experience

We had no issues with the property or with our experience. The owners were very sweet and responsive and accommodating when we were snowed due to a blizzard. We made the best of the weather and enjoyed our time away with the family. I would stay here again.

Karin was an excellent communicator and very helpful and accommodating with any questions. We loved the location within walking distance of CD Lane Park where we could walk, swim, play basketball or soccer. The back porch with grill and yard with fire pit were nice hangout spots. We roasted marshmellows by the fire and had no mosquito bites the entire time! There were 3 common areas inside which allowed for us to spread out if desired. The only way to the master bedroom and loft is by the spiral staircase, so make sure you are able to navigate that if staying upstairs. The bathrooms were acceptable and clean. The kitchen is small, but had everything we needed.

The house was clean and had all you can ask for. Beautiful private backyard with picnic bench and fire pit. Spacious main floor with 2 rooms to relax in, enjoyed especially the newer living room. Only disappointment was that the jacuzzi for which we had chosen this house for was not working. Karen was not able to get a plumber to fix it on time but gave us a 25% compensation. Would recommend this house!

Cute and Cosy Cabin the Catskills!

My friends and I love staying here! It was a great location, lovely firepit out back and comfortable for the 4 of us. Just 15min drive from hiking and swimming as well! Karin, the owner, could not be nicer and was great about communicating with us on any questions. Definitely recommend for a fun and pleasant weekend in the Catskills!

Nice roomy lodge for a skiing trip

This is a great location for Windham and Hunter mountains, 11 and 16 minutes respectively. We only had 5 people but there was plenty of room for more. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back again if it is available.
