The home was just as advertised and big enough for our multi family vacation. We loved having the private pool and close beach access. That side of the island is our favorite, the beach is quiet and the waves aren’t bad - perfect for our two littles. Already ready to plan on our next trip back!

First, the host was very responsive to all of my questions. Next, the house was awesome! Rooms were huge and there was a large amount of space on the deck and also under the deck. The kitchen was well equipped and and had everything we needed. The pool was the highlight of our stay. The pool toys were a welcome surprise. The hottub looked very inviting, but it was just too hot outside to take advantage of it.Unfortunately, our path to the beach had a serious washout. The younger ones in our group could negotiate through this, but the older ones had to find an alternative route. We had a great trip!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad The Remedy had spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and that the pool (and pool toys) were a highlight. Sorry about the beach path washout — we've reported it to our maintenance team and are looking into repairs and safe alternate access. Happy to hear you had a great trip and we hope to welcome you back. - The Tybee Team

The Renegade was a beautiful home, with all the amenities one would need. We especially loved the huge porch which we spent drinking our morning coffee and sharing stories with long time friends. We are beach people and our only disappointment was our access to the beach. It was not what was stated in the description. There is a very narrow path between the homes to the dunes. The stairs provided to climb the dune were covered with sand and the stairs down the dune onto the beach were nonexistent and the railing was broken and unusable. Therefore, we had to drive to the public beaches. Such a disappointment if you’re looking for a home with beach access. If you’re not interested in the beach, it’s the perfect house.

Wonderful Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed at this property and it was everything we could’ve asked for! Beautifully decorated, so comfortable! The pool was fantastic and the walk to the beach was short, albeit a little awkward to scale the dunes down to the beach. We already plan to stay at the house again!

The Remedy review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall very satisfied with our stay. The house was very clean and well equipped. Very enjoyable, nice location. Drawback was that the access to the beach from the property was destroyed, no new steps had been built waiting on permits. Also pool could have used a railing for helping getting in and out of pool. Also could use some gardening of the palm trees, as the berries on them continually feel off and were all over the ground and in the pool. Kept having to clean up around the area so as not to be stepping on them. Also the grill could be replaced as when using one night there were alot of rusted and broken pieces in the grill. We actually covered with aluminum foil so as not to have the meat on the grill itself. Only used once would not use a second time. Very easy to get around Tybee and also Savannah.Enjoyed our time there.

The Remedy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed with family for a destination wedding for my daughter. The house was very comfortable and the rooms were very large so that we could use it for our stay as well as a home base for bridesmaids and out of town guests to meet to head to head to events. It worked fabulously! The house was well appointed and there were no issues.

This home was perfect for our needs. Quick access to the beach and a few local restaurants within easy walking distance was just what we desired. The interior of the home was great....very clean, well-stocked kitchen with everything anyone could need, comfortable beds, and cozy relaxed sitting areas. The upstairs suites were beautiful with smaller suites on main floor. The pool area needs updating and a thorough cleaning. We did use the pool after the pool service got the pump working correctly, but only used the hot tub once as it would not maintain a warm temp. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather the entire week so spent most of our time on the beach. The outdoor area would be lovely with a good cleaning, and I believe that is already planned. The Tybee Cottage staff were very attentive and quickly responded to any request. We would definitely rent this house again! .

Startting to show its age just a bit. It is a wonderful place really enjoyed our stay. Only issue was some cigarette butts and a cotton swab by the pool. Otherwise place was very clean. Thinking of renting this and the house in front for big family reunion

Very nice home and neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. Only caution the 2nd set of steps leading to the front door, they are painted gray and with the sun glare the bottom step can easily be missed when going down causing falls.

The house was good except for the lack of blinds in the master bedroom. Saying it has a water view is laughable. I was told it had a beach access by the house. It did not exist. We had to drive to find an access and parking.

Terrific Tybee

We love Tybee Island and this house was perfect for our stay. We love the ocean but have some smaller grandkids that don’t love it as much as the rest of us! The pool was perfect for a combination of a little bit of beach relaxation and pool swimming fun for all ages! The kitchen has everything you need to whip up some quick breakfast in the morning. There is a grill outside if you are so inclined to make dinner at home for everyone as well. Tybee has some really good restaurants that you will definitely want to try! Sundae Cafe is a must! Get your reservations early though. They book up fast! For family fun “The Remedy” is just what the doctor ordered!

They made sure everything was delivered, set up and ready to go prior to our check in! An exceptional level of service! This house has it all and will not disappoint! We have already made our next reservation for this summer! Thanks again for a Stellar experience!
