The Hygge Cabin is a one of a kind "Tiny Home" luxury cabin experience like no other! It offers the perfect relaxed getaway for your mountain escape. Our unique combination of indoor and outdoor luxurious amenities will make this the perfect mountain getaway experience for couple's and families alike. The perfect summer cabin or winter ski adventure awaits as we have a meticulously renovated space to meet the highest of standards (our own)! Try the sauna room and the outdoor picnic/BBQ areas, fully equipped kitchen, heated floor bathroom and mudroom, audiophile sound system, comfortable beds and lounge chairs, all while charging your EV!

The space
This cabin provides an truly amazing tiny home experience while being extremely comfortable for all guests. Modern Scandinavian design inspired with a few luxurious features such as a bathroom with heated floors and towel rack as well as large oversized front windows designed to bring the nature inside for your constant view and enjoyment. This truly relaxing space will make you feel like you have entered a new world where comfort meets mother nature. We like to think of it as Tiny-Home Glamping experience on steroids!!

Guest access
Guests can access the entire property including the Mudroom/laundry front entrance as well as the Sauna Room to the right of the house which has its own separate entrance for privacy. Don't forget to discover our very own secret hiking trail in our backyard (through the forest) and explore our 3.8 acres of mountainside up on Mt. Pakatakan or launch your "All Trails" app and hike the Dry Brook Ridge Trail which starts a short walk away and loops for over 13 miles into the Catskill State Park wilderness. Our property at the elevation of 1,900 feet borders the Catskill State Park!

Other things to note
There are plenty of activities available for you and your guests to enjoy within close proximity including kayaking on Wawaka Lake, old fashioned bowling at BBQ Bowl, fishing, golfing, skiing, shopping and much more! The cabin is centrally located for skiing with Bellayre Mountain located 7 minutes away and Platkill Mountain15 minutes away!! Also Hunter Mountain is 35 minutes away and Windham mountain is 45 minutes away.

At the cabin you can occupy yourself with board games and playing cards or perhaps cooking as we have provided a very nicely equipped kitchen with plenty of tools to help you cook your favorite gourmet meals. Don't forget to try our BREO, state-of-the-art smokeless firepit, outdoor cooking (on Wood) system! Inside we have 2 electric stovetop burners as well as a large oversized Air-Fryer/convection oven. The Sauna room offers a Barrel sauna for 4 persons along with a cold splash pail and a hot and cold shower for a true all-inclusive sauna experience.

Don't forget to visit the amazing Pakatakan farmers market at the Round Barn just minutes away on Saturdays and meet the local farmers and producers of the great Western Catskills, Delaware County region. Hear the bluegrass musicians and mingle with the local folk at this expansive marketplace which sells everything from locally grown and fermented kimchee to farmed trout, whiskey, Neapolitan pizza, local baked good, tons of seasonal vegetables and fruits, cheeses, foraged and farmed mushrooms, crafts, and much more.

Also notable is the retro BBQ BOWL, bowling alley which will bring you back in time to when people kept their own scorecards and people gathered for some good old fashioned fun. Also the local Union Grove Distillery provides a fun and unique cocktail lounge experience, Catskills style, that you don't want to miss. There are lots of great restaurants and shops in town as well as our very own CVS Pharmacy , Gourmet store (Home Goods), and large supermarket with and endless selection of local craft beers and food products. Also 5 minutes walk down the road from the cabin is a 24 hour convenience store (the only one in the western Catskills) at Speedway gas station.
