Situated on 20 acres in the Andover, Vermont countryside and in close driving distance to Okemo, Magic, Stratton, and Bromley Mountains, Alta Vista is an 11 bedroom home that has been recently redecorated and can sleep up to 28 guests. Cook and entertain in the open first floor area which boasts a 60 inch Wolf Range and two dining areas (including a game table), as well as space to relax near 3 fireplaces (and a hot tub!) after a day spent outdoors skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, or swimming. Property is VAST trail adjacent and boasts its own sledding hill. Not to be missed!

Superb rental for a family wedding

We were delighted to find such a great-looking house that was big enough for our group of 18, and it lived up to expectations! The well-stocked pantry was nice surprise. Fast and helpful communication with the property manager.

Another Great Time

This is our second time at this lovely home in Andover. We all enjoyed the beautiful property with views of the hills as well as exploring the area, going on hikes. The house is very comfortable andxwell equipped. The owner is very accommodating and quickly responds to communication. We are looking forward to returning in the future!

Great Place!

Overall the stay was great. Just couple of points to be aware -01. The internet connectivity was not stable02. There seemed to be no AC. We had to keep windows open, and use FANs where available. Particularly the upstairs rooms were pretty warm.

Great place for large groups

We had a wonderful stay at Alta Vista. We were a group of 23 people from 5 families (infant to 71 yrs) and there was ample space for all of us. The house offered multiple areas of bedrooms so each family was able to have their own space, bathroom and privacy. The house was very clean, spacious, kitchen was well-stocked and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed hikes through the woods, soccer & whiffle ball games in the yard and a night in the hot tub. The owner, Jay, was very responsive and helpful with our questions before and during our stay. We hope to return for another stay!

Great home for large family

Lovely home on beautiful property. The house was perfect for my large family and grandchildren. The house is very well kept and clean. Large open area first floor and plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. We enjoyed visiiting surrounding towns, farms, famer's markets, frisbee and ball on the beautiful lawns. Owner was very nice and responsive to our questions. Would love to return next year!

Great multi family retreat

We are a large family and brought all of our children and their families up to Vermont for the funeral of our Father. 10 adults and 7 grandchildren. The house provided plenty of bedrooms for privacy and space for every family to have their own bathroom. The kitchen was fully loaded and beautiful to work in. The added bonus was the gorgeous property. We had 4 inches of snow while there and once it melted the grands completely enjoyed the swing and the autumn leaves. The hot tub was a welcome relaxing place to end the day. It was a great place to retreat to after long days of funeral business. Highly recommend. I would only suggest there could be booster seats or pac n plays (cribs)for littles. Again - Highly recommend !!!

Amazing Stay at Alta Vista!

Alta Vista is a wonderful property to stay with a large group of family/friends and explore all that beautiful Vermont has to offer. We were a group of 20 people from 5 families, and ages between 7 and 73. And everyone enjoyed the stay. The listing is very accurate and you get what is described. The setting of property is rural on a fairly quite road, and away from the hustle of all towns/cities. Essential tip is to stock up on your supplies and plan in advance. We cooked many meals for the entire group and the kitchen and pantry are well stocked with utensils, dishes, essentials and pantry items. Cleaning and other house supplies are very well stocked and organized and made the stay functionally very convenient. Jay was responsive and available on VRBO message, text and phone. Checkin and checkout were very smooth without any hassle. Appreciated his tips and support for trash/recycling disposal. Great memories from this trip and we look forward to another opportunity to come back to Alta Vista!
