*This 1-bedroom, 1-bath Myrtle Beach vacation rental

*on 11th floor

*features access to family-friendly resort amenities, including pools and an arcade.

*Enjoy the outdoors all day, being close to all main attractions Myrtle Beach has to offer, then return to your private balcony to watch the sunset.

*Free parking on property with parking pass only. (Parking pass will wait for you at the apartment).

The room was absolutely perfect. Everything just like the listing & the description. Very clean, perfect view & we felt very at home. I appreciated the host keeping us stocked up on towels & staying very accessible with quick responses friendly service. The hotel is one of my favorite in Myrtle Beach! It has the best beach & great amenities. The location is great & the streets were very nice & walkable in the night.

Wasn’t impressed

Not properly cleaned, hair on the bed sheets and a hair in the silverware drawer, food left in freezer, door handle broken off sliding glass door to balcony, 2 of the 4 elevators were down, beds were hard and uncomfortable, and barely any light in the bedroom.

Wonderful first time in Myrtle beach

Our overall stay was great! The condo was just what was listed! The only con to the stay was that the beds are a little rough on the back! Also if your a family of 5 seating is very limited! Other than that I couldn’t ask for a better stay!

Beach stay

Stood outside the condo for 1-1/2 hours because someone had changed the lock code. Once inside no ice cube trays, no parking pacsses and no fan in the bathroom. Condo was clean and loved the area.

All around Terrible

Let me start off by saying we have stayed at about a dozen different places with VRBO and the other popular rental company. This was the only time I have ever been disappointed with our choice. The entire Caravelle complex needs renovation and a good cleaning. It is dirty and old and every surface is dented, scratched, rusted you name it. When we arrived there was trash all the floor of the elevator. The parking structure was equally filthy. The condo we stayed in is equally in desperate need of updating or at least painting. The appliances are rusty, the walls are dirty and scuffed up. The beds are very cheap and uncomfortable. The final straw was that we had bugs in the bathroom and in the sitting area. We paid for eight nights but left after the first night. I contacted Emily to let her know we were checking out early. Although her policy is no refunds I asked for a partial refund since we were so displeased with the condo. She said she would give us a partial refund but after two attempts to contact her again she ghosted me and has not responded to my enquires. She "replied" with a blank message to make the system think she responded to my message through VRBO but that is not the case. Anyway, there are many wonderful condo's in the Myrtle Beach area so we moved on to a different place that was fantastic.

My opinion of the property

The apartment needs an update. Mattresses need replaced and there should be more lighting in the bedroom and kitchen. Table and chairs and end table and coffee table were pretty beat-up and should be replaced. I would suggest the walls and baseboards be painted.

Family vacation for 5

Emily was an amazing host! She was very polite and always answered very quickly. The room was great! We had no issues and plenty of space and the view was absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be staying again!

Great Getaway with great views

We had a great stay. The beach was great and the pool and the Lazy River were great additions. We had beautiful weather during our stay which really made it a nice time to get away from the cooler weather where we live.

Poor owner communication

The unit is average. The location and amenities are average for the price. The biggest issue for communication from the owner ahead of time and when I had an issue. I didn’t receive the check in or check out email with details of things like specifics to address or directions and/or where to park, code, etc. After an over 9.5 hrs of driving I was tired and excited to check in. I had to call VRBO and they weren’t able to get the host on the phone. The owner wasn’t helpful or responsive. I never did receive any check out tips or directions. The air in the main area didn’t work but the one in the bedroom area did. I was with my family so we had fun being together but the unit and the headache of the process didn’t add any value to our trip.

Presents well

Everything about the unit present very well. Exactly as described. Descent price for what it is. The low cleanliness grade comes from the general smell of the unit (heavy cigarette) and the Murphy bed mattress smelled of urine, as I slept on it and it was bad. However, the owner was on point with attempting to address the mattress issue swiftly. I do wish when owners indicate NO SMOKING, that is something that renters actually respect. Doesn’t make for a happy stay for those with irritations or allergies. **This is not at the fault of the owner…
