Drove from Dassel MN and Stayed for a family golf outing. The accommodations were very nice,meeting all of our needs. We didn’t use the water area but enjoyed looking at it.

This house was in a great location, accommodating and perfect for our family! It was clean, the beds were comfortable, kitchen had all of the items needed, swim vests of all sizes, beach towels and so much more. The adults and grandchildren enjoyed swimming and fishing, using the kayaks and had multiple places for family time to just sit and talk. Thank you for the great experience and new memories!

This property was a great place and was very relaxing. Our kids had a wonderful time jumping in the lake. They also have an option to rent the pontoon. We did not use it, but was a great option to stay on the lake. It has beautiful views of the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We so enjoyed our stay. There was room for all 14 of us without falling over one another. Sitting on the deck relaxing was one of our favorite things to do. The drive way down to the house and the walk down to the water are both a little treacherous. Otherwise, or stay was wonderful!

Great place!!

Great place lots of space. Needs way to get to deck. WiFi service is ok but not great. I would book this place again!! Big for family or group of up to 10!! Highly recommend it!!

Family Vacation

We were celebrating my parents 67th wedding anniversary. They wanted to go to the Ark Encounter and we found this gem of a place on the lake. Communication was easy peasy!! The place was perfect for our family. The view of the lake was beautiful!! Highly recommend!!

Wishing to make our reacurring vacay rental

We booked this house because it was so close to the ark encounter with an amazing view. We didn’t even realize until the maintenance man came up that the house included the boat rental! We didn’t take it out because it wasn’t in season yet, but what a great advantage. Some of the things in the house are a bit dated such as the tv with streaked screens, but it was manageable. The basement was quite cold while the upstairs was warm, and very limited hot water for a family of 6. But to be honest, those are minor details to an amazing stay. The memories here have left a lasting impression for our next trip back to the ark

Amazing views

We stayed with 3 other couples to celebrate my birthday and were so pleased with our stay here! The views are amazing and the pictures don't do it any justice. We talked about making this an annual trip!

Amazing Lake Home

Beautiful property on the lake! So peaceful with relaxing views from the deck! The house had everything we needed for our stay. The property is very close to Ark Encounter, and one of the best Mexican restaurants (El Jalisco)... Very enjoyable stay!

Perfect accommodations!

There were 7 of us staying but could have fit 10 easily! The communication with the owner/management was quick and polite! The accommodations were clean. The view was terrific! Check out was super easy! Highly recommend!

A beautiful summer house on the lake

The lake views from the back porch/deck are excellent. The primary bedroom and kitchen are on the entry floor. The other sleeping areas are upstairs or downstairs. The dining and living area have large windows with great views.There's a very nice dock. The road to the house is steep and gravel. You may need all-wheel drive if the weather is inclement. And the walk to the dock is a little steep and is not very accessible if you have any mobility issues (balance, weak ankles, bad hip or knee)

Cozy Lake House

We had a lovely stay at the Lake House in Williamstown, KY. The management company was most accommodating. The couple we travel with enjoys kayaking and they made sure we had kayaks when we arrived. They also went out of their way to provide a card table and chairs for us to work jigsaw puzzles and play games. For anyone considering renting this property, getting to the house will be a bit of an adventure. You will drive through a rundown area but don’t give up, the end result will be worth it. An SUV or 4 wheel drive is definitely advisable because the hill down to the house is quite steep. The house is situated right on the Lake with lovely views and even has its own boat house. The furniture, though a bit dated, is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and provisioned. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and we were able to purchase any groceries we wanted at a nearby Walmart Supermarket. Hopefully the owners will have provided a grill before the next renters arrive. We were disappointed not to have one available during our stay. Although there were only 4 of us (2 retired couples), this property would be a nice get away for a family in town for some of the local attractions and spending time together on the Lake. During our 10 day vacation we visited the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY; the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY; the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY; and Big Bone Lick State Park, Union, KY. We relaxed and played games, watched movies, read books and watched the wildlife in the area. It was peaceful and quiet during the off-season. We also enjoyed eating out at some of the local eating places like Hansie Flip Burgers, Beans Café & Bakery, and Kellie's Homestead Restaurant.
