Colvmns by the Sea is a World Famous Landmark Property Located at the Eastern End of Cape May Island, New Jersey. It is One of the Few Edwardian Revival Mansions Built in 1905.

At One Time Known as Colvmns by the Sea Bed and Breakfast the Property was Restored and Renovated in 2005 Into Luxury Condominiums. The cottage is on the property at 1513 Beach Ave. Cape May. At one time the cottage was private quarters for the staff. The cottage has been renovated and is now a two story residence with direct ocean views. The cottage is located at the end of a private drive, secluded and away from the roadway.

All the Integrity of the Original Structure was Left Intact While 21st Century Engineering was Added.

The Kitchen has Floor to Ceiling Wood Cabinetry, Rare Brazilian Granite Counter Tops, and State of the Art Stainless Appliances.

The Bathroom Design was Inspired by World Class European Spas with Extensive Use of Turkish Travertine .

The Cottage has access to all common areas as it is part of The Colvmns by the Sea Condo Association Common Areas Include;

Magnificent Rooftop Deck in the main house with Unobstructed Views of the Atlantic Ocean, All of Cape May Island and the Wetlands. Access is from the back stairs of the main house.

Second Floor Library, Adjacent to the Spacious 2nd Floor Galley and Staircase.

Spacious Turkish Travertine Front Porch in the main house Surrounded by Doric Columns, Captures the Cool Cross Breezes and Sweeping Views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Colvmns by the Sea 'Historic Oceanfront Mansion', 'Rooftop Deck', 'Second Floor Library area', 'Travertine Front Porch'. The well known bed and breakfast is now condominiums. Built at the turn of the last century, the cottage is a separate building at the rear of the property. Updated for today's lifestyles, the cottage is a perfect beach getaway recalling a bygone era. Relax and rewind on the second story porch. Very private and secluded the cottage offers unsurpassed views of the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphin watching every morning and afternoon is a great past time from the enclosed porch. The porch will be screened in for the new season. On the first floor a private patio enclosed by star jasmine vines is perfect for that morning cup of coffee. We are located at the eastern end of Cape May also known locally as Poverty Beach. Poverty Beach is the quiet area of town as there are no hotels or large rentals in the area.

Beautifully appointed cottage with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Close to everything but on the quiet end of Beach ave. Great stay. Comfy beds.

Fantastic!

The beach was great even though it was chilly. I make it an annual visit to come here it is so nice. The landlords are very nice and flexible, thank you Ron and Bernadette for making all my stays here so wonderful!

Cottage is wonderful, however our problem was with the responsiveness of the owner. We thoroughly cleaned and straightened up the cottage before we departed, expecting a full refund of our cleaning deposit. After numerous calls and texts to the owner about the status of our refund, we have heard nothing. If we left the cottage in disarray we were not informed of any problem. We have had absolutely NO communication back from the owner as to why she has not refunded our cleaning deposit even though the contract states that the cleaning deposit will be refunded within three weeks.

Very very disappointed with the owner.

This is an additional fee charged. We apologize for any mis-understanding. Both of these fees are in addition to the rental, which is stated in the lease. If I had received an email from you which I never did, I would have responded directly.
