Why paul busch chose Lake Gogebic

We enjoy walleye fishing and Lake Gogebic provides a great walleye fisheries. The lake does not really have high use rate so one does not experience that crowded feeling found on many other lakes.

Three docks, boat landing, fish cleaning house. Fire pit, picnic table and grills at the cabin. Boat rentals, guide service, bait, fishing/hunting licenses, groceries and gas next door. The three docks have night lights which can be turned off. There are outlets at the lights to charge your batteries. A 100 foot extension cord would be useful.

Third Time Back

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just booked this cabin for the third year in a row. It is a very clean, beautiful, modern cabin on a great lake, both for fishing and sightseeing. Each year we manage to catch at least a few of those jumbo perch and some walleye. Evenings we enjoy the casino in Watersmeet which is only a 45 minute drive. The Porcupine Mountains, Lake of the Clouds and Lake Superior shore are an easy daytrip. I am an avid birder and the area is very good for that also. As yet we haven't met Paul and Sally, the hosts, but look forward to it one of these years. We hope to be able to return here for many more years.

Relaxing vacation

  • 5 of 5

This was a great cabin. Clean, quite and perfect location. We made many family memories fishing on this lake. Not a lot of stores around so make sure you bring in your food supplies. I loved sitting by the lake reading my books, it was great. If you want a relaxing cabin location this is the cabin for you.

Perfect Experience!

  • 5 of 5

Girlfriend and I spent a week in paradise. From check in to checkout the exerience was great. Very clean well equipped cabin with all the necessities (other than bath towels). Beautiful sunrises sitting on deck with coffee, it was very quiet. Cabin is located next door to canoe and boat rental and a small grocery\bait store for any forgotten items. Take the drive to Lake of the Clouds overlook. All around memorable and comfortable time!

Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We drove up from Milwaukee for a long weekend. A great place to get away from the congestion of Northern Wisconsin. The cabin had everything we needed, was nicely decorated, very clean and had comfortable beds. The boat launch was convenient and watching the lake from the porch and our own fire pit was both beautiful and peaceful during the day and into the night. It's just like the pictures!
