Directly on the Gulf with the beach right off your backyard, this recently remodeled upscale beach home boasts 3 bedrooms, an office with high-speed internet connection, sleeper sofa, and 2 full bathrooms. Watch our stunning Florida sunsets from the upper deck or lower patio, enjoy the beach, or just kick back and read a book while listening to the surf!
The large covered patio area, which looks out over the back yard to the Gulf, is perfect for anything from cookouts to intimate formal catered gatherings.
Just a short drive South to John's Pass Village or North to Clearwater Beach, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, boat and jet ski rentals, fishing, and gambling or dinner cruises.

Indian Rocks Beach
Indian Rocks Beach is a quiet town along 3 miles of white sand beach that was initially developed in the 1920s as a weekend getaway destination for wealthy inland residents. A barrier island 24 miles from Tampa International Airport, Indian Rocks Beach is sunny nearly every day, with historical temperatures ranging from 54 to 90 degrees F. Since the Florida Gulfcoast is the leeward side of the state, the Gulf of Mexico is usually pretty calm, with the larger waves on the Atlantic Coast of Florida. Indian Rocks Beach is a facilities-rich community as evidenced by miles of pristine beach, many parks and recreational facilities such as tennis and basketball courts, a ball field, and its most recent addition, a state of the art skateboard park.

Our stay was outstanding. The location couldnt be better. Inside was warm and furnished well. Right after 2 hurricans , exterior rough, but still fun, inviting with beautiful view of the ocean, beaches very clean and plenty of sunshine. Just to short. Next time we will stay longer. inspite of

Perfect getaway

Kathleen was an amazing host, always prompt to respond, checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well and even let us check in early which was a huge plus because we got In from virginia earlier than expected with two small kids. The house was very clean, beds were really comfortable, it had everything we needed to relax on the beach AND it was right on the water, which again was super ideal with two small kids coming back from the beach. Will definitely book with her again!

Perfect Getaway

Location, location, location. With a beautiful stretch of beach right in your backyard, what more could you ask for? The house had plenty of space for us and our kids, and had pretty much everything we needed for the week. Kathleen answered questions very quickly and was very responsive in all interactions. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing place!

Place was easy to find and plenty of parking space for 2-3 cars(we only had one but plenty of space for more) we found the place to be clean and comfortable! Perfect location on the beach with very short trail from back gate to the sand. Back porch is amazing views for coffee in morning or watch the sunset. The place had plenty of space inside we never felt cramped for the 4 of us and could have accommodated more easily. We would definitely revisit this house and area!

Perfection

This was a great house for our family. It works so well for families with smaller children. The yard is fenced and they had freedom to be outside. There is even a wild bunny, which they loved. A thumbs up to a house that meets the needs for a carefree time.

Wonderful house on the beach

We just spent a week at the Sundowner. The house had everything we needed. It was roomy and very clean. We were surprised to find fresh flowers and a gift basket upon arrival. The waves on the gulf are gentle and the sunsets so beautiful. Down a small path and we were at the water and we had a beautiful view from the deck. We are planning to stay there again.

Spent a week in May at the Sundowner with my nieces and their kids. Fun was had by all! The layout of the house works great with kids and the beds are very comfy. By far the best part is the porch with it's breeze and fantastic view. Plenty of amenities and close to stores and restaurants. Definitely a winner!

Great beach house

Our family had a wonderful time and Kathleen was a fabulous host with some of the best communication you will ever see from a host. My wife and I had our 4 kids with us (ages 4-11) and the proximity to the beach was just incredible. The house was as advertised. Very easy to log in and out of the TVs for Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc. The ability to walk to dinner at various restaurants was also amazing. The access to the stroller was also really nice for pushing our 4 year old around if we needed a stroller. We would stay here again and our family had a wonderful time at the beach and this house.

We had an emergency last-minute booking. The owner was super responsive and helpful in working out details in a very short amount of time. Quick reminder for review readers: if you have a larger group: bring your own extra toilet paper!!

Beautiful on the beach

Beautiful property right on the beach. We had a great time. Only small thing was that we did notice some small sugar ants in various rooms and the primary shower had a small crack in the floor making the floor soft in one spot. But that didn’t change the fact that we had a great time and we would come back again! Communication was superb with the property manager.

The house was located beautifully! You could see the beach from the large porch which had plenty of seating. There was also a nice, hose to wash off the sand, and plenty of beach toys for kids in a storage box. There was plenty of sleeping places. The kitchen had a lot of kitchenware and even some other things that perhaps were from the owner or from other renters, like salt, pepper, pancake syrup, oil, etc. There was a TV in each room with connection to streaming services, but when we were there, the internet connection to the TV was hit or miss. There were plenty of towels. The hand soaps and dish soap were plentiful, but pack your own hair toiletries. I hadn’t rented a house before, and this was a good first experience. If we go to that coast again, I’d rent it again,

Kathleen is AMAZING!!

The house was just as described. Beautiful view of the ocean! Love the fenced yard. Outside shower was so convenient to wash all the sand off when you walk back on your private pathway from the beach! Kathleen was the most helpful host ever!!! She went above and beyond with anything we needed. She also left a gift & fresh flowers. Thank you for our memorable stay Kathleen!!!

We had a lovely beach wedding at the house on April 29th. As soon as we saw it we knew it was perfect! The house is beautiful and the beach was the perfect backdrop. Waking up every morning to the sound of waves was so relaxing. Sunsets were a daily special event. The Steele's were very friendly and helpful. They even had a special gift basket for us. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to all my friends!

Beautiful views and great layout!

This property was perfect for our family. We loved the convenient location, easy beach access, and the beautiful views from the deck. The owner was excellent to work with, the property was clean, and was well-stocked with everything we could need including beach towels and even extra sunscreen! She literally thought of everything. One thing I always worry about is how comfortable the beds and pillows will be, but they were all very comfortable here. I liked that two bedrooms were located at the rear of the house away from the living area in case someone wanted to sleep while others stayed up visiting. We have stayed in this area several times and this is our favorite property to date.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

The Steele's beach house is THE perfect place for your next getaway! This was our 1st time renting a house as opposed to staying at a resort and I have to say, we'll never stay at a resort again!! We had our 2 children and their families (8 of us including 2 toddlers) vacationing with us for the perfect family getaway. The Steele's home is the best place to create some really great family memories, which we did every day. The view from the deck is awesome and is the perfect place to watch the beautiful gulf sunsets. Kathleen was so accommodating and quickly answered any questions I had. Our family will definitely be back. Our kids are still talking about how great the house was. We've found the perfect retreat!!
