This lakehouse was perfect, clean, and the area is extremely quiet. I plan on staying here again, would most definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.
The house was very clean on the inside. Something to be aware of it has infloor heat. So if you walk in at 60, it will take 1-1/2 hrs to get up to 70. The portable space heater was a big help. Also, the master bedroom downstairs is small. No room to put a bag other than on the floor. The lake view is very beautiful and relaxing.
Great cabin for a little get away!We had fun. The cabin is newer so extremely nice!! Host was a great communicator as well. Beautiful sunsets along the lake. We went to the Minnesota state fair, ate at the View, Chippewa family restaurant and also Norske nook. Great food and great times.
Excellent timely communication. Pictures and written description accurate. Beautiful setting. A lot of very nice areas to hike nearby which we were looking for. Helpful suggestions from the host.
We had a great time at this property. The lakefront is amazing, and we enjoyed use of the floats and firepit. The cabin is pristine and so well decorated, it really added to the feeling of being on vacation. The area is really neat - we visited several great restaurants and shops nearby. I would definitely recommend this property!
Our stay was wonderful! We stayed on a trip back home to visit family and it was such a great experience getting to stay on Lake Wissota rather than a hotel. The cabin was very clean and well stocked and provided excellent relaxing lakeside activities. The area had great restaurants, boat rentals, and access to everything we needed. I hope to visit again on future trips back home!
Cozy and inviting cabin with a full kitchen and beautiful outdoor space right on the lake. An outdoor gas grill is provided as well as a fire ring. We didn’t use the provided tv’s because we were just soaking up the outdoors. This a lovely quiet place to relax and unwind.
We booked one night at the cozy family getaway for our family to stay while attending a wedding in the area. We had three adults and three kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. We also brought our small dog and like that they were pretty friendly. The house
After a little difficulty with the electronic lock, we moved in for our family Thanksgiving celebration. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Was impressed by the excellent taxidermy on display.
The cabin was very nice, and kitchen was very clean. The bedrooms, living area and steps could’ve been vacuumed more. The fire pit and available chairs were great! Boating and wading were very good. The lake was not conducive to swimming, due to the algae. Still enjoyed our stay!:)
The cabin is tucked away in a peaceful location, offering a breathtaking view of the lake—we enjoyed a beautiful sunset every night. From the cabin door, it’s only about 30 feet to reach the lakefront, providing easy access to the water. The neighbor’s property is situated quite close to the dock and fire ring. The cabin itself is relatively new, with all amenities in excellent working condition. It is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay.
We had the most amazing time at this location. The lake is a flat walkout, which is so rare on Lake Wissota. The sunsets were perfect! We caught lots of fish in the evening! Small Mouth Bass, Walleye & Catfish. Communication was a 5 out of 5! We will definitely be back!!
We arrived at the property a.to find someone else there. The hosp double booked and tried to notify qus at the date an time of check in. The host never contacted us to apologize and their friends staying there were beyond rude and nasty. So no stay, no communication, no civility. NO THANKS!!

Bummer
House and amenities were ok.
We rented to spend a day on the lake, grilling and chilling, the lake left a lot to be desired with the quality of the water, the grill was pretty rusty.
