Retreat to this 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home that spreads out across 5 acres. The natural exposed warm wood beams with high vaulted ceilings finished with lustrous metals will give you all the feels. Take in all of natures beauty with the homes oversized windows that overlook the valley and mountains or step out back on the expansive deck and take in some of the most stunning sunsets/views in central New York.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave all common areas in the same condition they were when you arrived. All linens and towels can be left in their rooms. House keeping will take them to the dry cleaner.
Trash can be taken to the maroon receptacle near the road.
If the grill was used, please make sure you clean the grill, no food left on the burners/grill grates. Turn the gas off and cover. A fee will be applied for any messes left behind.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We absolutely loved staying at the mountainside home. The views were stunning, and the house was extremely clean and updated. The neighborhood is very quiet - about a 10 minute drive to local towns. Beds were comfortable and showers very sleek. We will absolutely be back for another stay next year!

We live local and booked the mountainside retreat for family coming into town for a family event. It was for my sister, niece, and her son girlfriend. Ages 17-71 and all were impressed at the finishes and how comfortable it was. We definitely plan to return.It was clean and welcoming.

We loved this house and enjoyed the view every day. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-laid out. The spiral staircase is gorgeous and is a challenge for some of our family, so just be mindful of that when booking. The neighborhood is very quiet and has views of rolling hills for miles.

Absolutely perfect

From booking, to arrival and getting situated. we couldn't ask for a more perfcet process and a more perfect home. The house was situated on a mountain side with windows gallore with a view to die for. A true feel of luxary living in the mountains but not far from stores. Thank you for making our holiday easy, convenient and just perfect. We cant wait to to stay again!!!

Bonus to a Splendid Wedding

We had a wedding that we were attending in Schoharie. My daughter found this place and I was sceptical; kinda "too good to be true". But it was everything you see and read on Scott's listing and in our case, even better. We decided to add a day to see more of the area. What a surprise to look up and see this literally mountaintop house from the attractions we were visiting in the valley (they were that close)! We can verify all that Scott has included in his listing, and can share that we were one of many guests that thoroughly enjoyed being Scott's guest for the long weekend that we were able to spend there. We highly recommend this Home if this area is your destination! Thanks, Scott!
