Ubicado en Palm Island Resort en la costa suroeste del golfo de Florida. No existen puentes o calzadas a la isla, lo que garantiza un ambiente de vacaciones tropicales relajado.
El resort de la isla abarca una porción de dos millas de playas prístinas y privadas en el extremo norte de Palm Island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Palm Island is ny favorite getaway and I’ve stayed in many units over the years. This is our second time in this unit and I think it’s my favorite! The location is perfect for our family - the pool is directly behind it and the beach access is right behind the pool. This is definitely going to be my go to in the future! Our only complaint this year, which is NOT a problem with the unit, was both of the 6 seater golf carts we tried to rent ending up breaking down. We need a 6 seater so neither of our small kids have to ride backwards (dangerous for them) and it was so disappointing to not have that this time. We enjoyed our time at the pool and beach, but really missed our afternoon golf cart rides exploring the island. I hope the resort is able to make some upgrades in this department soon.

Villa much improved since last summer....

Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in 2613 for many summer vacations, and we've been very happy with it; but last summer our review indicated some problems: master bedroom bed that sank in the center, burners not working on the stove and other things. We're happy to report that the problems we mentioned have been corrected, and the villa is once again a haven. We love the location of this villa, since we use the grill almost every night and we can watch our grandchildren in the pool from our porch. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great Family Week

It's a perfect place for all ages. Beautiful,serene, friendly and relaxing with plenty to do or just enjoying miles of beautiful beaches and shells. Great restaurant on the premises and fun kids activities should you want. Perfect!

3113 First Part of our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We requested to have the same unit as last year and unfortunately the property mgt team put us in 3113 which we stayed in two years ago. 3113 is not in good shape with original furniture and old carpet along with an uncomfortable bed in the bedroom closest to the beach. We were able to move over to 2613 which is a much better unit. The only downside to 2613 is no sprayers for your feet and shoes when you come off the beach, which would actually keep way more sand out of their condo. The only other issue is that the food and service at Rum Bay continues to disappoint. With the exception of Dustin, the staff generally do not seem happy and it shows. Also the pizza does not use good sauce and I literally counted six pepperoni slices on an entire half of a pizza we ordered. Finally, I am not sure why they reduced the hours at Coconuts to 7 pm. It closes before the RedBeard show even ends on Fridays. If the restaurant and Coconuts are more of a pain and not money makers then I get it but otherwise it seems like it is time for an overhaul of the menu and staff.

Still crazy about Palm Island after all these years...

Reviewer Comments: New decor and accents tastefully done; but the stove should be replaced because the burners really don't work well. Burned out and missing bulbs in some fixtures. Master bedroom king bed is obviously two box springs pushed together with a ridge in the center. TIme for a new mattress. Hot water was not very hot. Location on the island was very convenient to registration, parking, Coconuts and Rum Bay. As they have been for 30 years, the staff was exceptional--and the Gulf is still beautiful.

Thirty-two Summers at Palm Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was out 32nd summer vacation at Palm Island. We started the first summer the resort was open, and our sons were 7 and 10. Now our grandchildren are 4, 6, 8 10 and almost 13. Our children love the island and their children do, too. This year we rented 3 condos--2613 (ours), 2624 (kids and grandkids) and 3121 (my sister and brother-in law). 2613 was the only disappointment. We've stayed in this unit many times and it has been great. This time, the location was still perfect but the overall condition of the unit was not. It was clean but had many problems, primarily related to the inadequacy of the kitchen--no cookie sheets, 3 bowls missing from a stack of 4 nesting bowls, too few plates and pans, no large skillet, no toaster, broken blender; 2 stopped-up drains and many light bulbs that were non-functional. The maintenance crew unstopped the drains and replaced most of the bulbs; housekeeping replaced the blender and brought us a toaster. I bought plates and cookie sheets. The other two units were perfectly supplied with everything necessary for a week's stay--and more. Lavish, even. We'd love to stay in 2613 again because it's our favorite, but it does need some attention. As usual, all the employees were helpful and amazing. We love Palm Island!

Pleasure Island!

Nice New Years vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Palm Island Resort has a great location with nice accommodations. The resort is very private in part due to ferry requirement. We explored the island via golf cart and enjoyed walks along the beach and lounging poolside. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Only downside renting a lower level unit is that you have a disadvantage of listening to upstairs occupants if the unit is occupied. This is beyond the control of owners or managers. We would recommend another stay.

Not great with numerous issues

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The internet wifi did not work. After calling to report I could not get in the pool area I was told the gate was working fine but I was given the wrong pool pass which I had to go to the front office to get another one. The hot tub in the pool area was not working. The resort dock was broken and we could not rent kayaks because it could be a "liability". The guide mentions an off island restaurant you could visit via a water shuttle but when calling both it and the resort no one had any idea what I was talking about. The phone was scratchy and hard to hear when I reported the numerous issues I was having. Don't go here without a car as you will be trapped on island stuck with all the subpar amenities.

Visit to Palm Island Resort

The first was that the house numbers were not visible on the doors from the street, nor were there any numbers on the beach side of the homes. The second was that families were permitted only one entry to the the island per day. Our daughter, who has a temporary home 13 minutes from the island, and an 80 pound dog who needed walking and feeding,needed to be back more than once each day. Perhaps we had missed it, but we were unaware that it it would cost $55 per trip to take care of him. Since she has been traveling cross country for a year, she did not know anyone to help her with him. She very much wanted to be enjoying all the family activities,and visit with her many relatives there for our niece’s wedding and was unable be there as much as she and we would have liked.

Our rental was stunning and provided everything and anything we could want or need. Beautifully furnished and decorated, the unit made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this gem!
