Avec une belle vue mer des Caraïbes 111 pieds au-dessus de la plage sur un acre de terrain privé, cette villa de trois chambres entièrement climatisé est situé dans une zone isolée seulement cinq miles de l'aéroport et à trois miles du centre de Saint- Thomas sur le côté sud ensoleillé de l'île. CalypsoBlu bénéficie séjour à jour / mobilier de salle à manger et une cuisine bien équipée avec des appareils de l'état de l'art. TV à écran plat haute définition, le service de câble HD et un lecteur Blu-Ray DVD sont également fournis dans le salon, avec un assortiment de DVD et de haut-parleurs intérieur / extérieur. WiFi haut débit est disponible dans la villa et sur ses ponts. Les portes coulissantes en verre avec des écrans ouverts tout autour de la salle de séjour / salle à manger afin que vous puissiez profiter de la vue, les sons et les brises tropicales, même si à l'intérieur.

Passez une journée autour de la piscine carrelée (5 pi de profondeur tout au long et 25'LX 11'O), appréciant le déjeuner préparé sur le barbecue Weber.

Toutes les trois chambres bénéficient d'une salle de bain privée carrelée, sèche-cheveux, coin lecture, TV à écran plat / DVD / câble et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Lit de luxe et de bain sont fournis. Tous les trois chambres ont des entrées privées sur la terrasse de la piscine.

La villa est louée à un groupe à la fois et ne sera jamais partagé. La villa est malheureusement pas chaise roulante avec plusieurs étapes entre salon et les chambres. La villa est également pas adapté pour les enfants plus jeunes que toutes les chambres ont un accès direct à la piscine.

CalypsoBlu est géré par une société sur l'île, vous donnant accès à un concierge qui peut organiser quoi que ce soit à partir d'un massage dans la villa ou chef, à un yacht privé ou l'assistance du personnel de maintenance 24/7 réservés.

We have researched this and there were no notifications to us re: the dishwasher being broken. There was a text exchange between you and Justin, the island property manager, and paraphrasing the interaction below: “I texted with the guest. The power went out one time where the generator didn't crank and we sent a technician, but it came on quickly right afterward. The Internet was out for a small portion of their stay in the beginning I think just for the evening because the internet was having issues.” “The power went out at 7:46 PM and they had power again at 8:06 PM”. Please rest assured we have handled the issue in real time to the best of our ability. The dishwasher has now been replaced, taking action as soon as we learned of the matter.

This house is amazing and was exactly what we needed, as three couples staying together. It had three bedrooms with exterior doors and common areas both inside and out. We loved the view! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I highly recommend this house! There were a few negatives: hard to find (could have used some signage), very rough road back to the house, and the pool is at least 5 feet deep all around the pool. If we wouldn't have bought floats, we would not have been able to enjoy it. The positives really outweighed the negatives, and the communication was excellent! I would definitely go back to this home!

Amazing Property

My family and I stayed at CalypsoBlu in May and had a fantastic time. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and private, with stunning ocean views and cruise ships drifting by.The drive up is a bit bumpy, but well worth it. We each found our own way to unwind. Some of us enjoyed game nights, and others soaked in the peaceful views. The pool and outdoor areas were our favorite hangouts, and the kitchen had everything we needed.We’d absolutely recommend CalypsoBlu and can’t wait to return.

Check in was a little strange - house is left open with keys on the counter. No check out instructions that I could find. Other than that the stay was great. The final part of the road to the VRBO is very rough - I wouldn’t suggest driving it in a car.

Paradise

Calypso Blu is an absolute gem with an unbeatable view. It feels like your very own secluded paradise, it was hard to leave the pool to go explore the rest of the island!! Communication with the property manager was top notch, every question we had was answered promptly. 10/10 we can’t wait to come back!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and a nice assortment of spices. After a day at the beach, we relaxed in and around the pool. The view from the house was exceptional. It would be helpful to have a sign with the house name at the top of the dirt road.

Locating the villa was not easy. Multiple communications from VRBO & Prestige gave us the street address of the villa and 1 communication from Prestige also listed a Google Maps link. I use Apple Maps, so I used the street address that was in the same communication.They need to make it very clear that the street address will not get you there and provide both Google Maps & Apple Maps links, stating that the only the links should be used.Dishwasher was brokenThe dishwasher being broken would have been manageable if this had been communicated to us.Instead we were putting our dirty dishes in it, not knowing that it wouldn't work.We tried running it a few times, assuming that we had missed something. poor communication again as my wife was told that it would be added to the work order for the bugs.When I followed up, I was told that it had been broken for 3 weeks, pending parts from the mainland.Microwave was broken. Again, the issue is not just that it was broken, it's the lack of communication so that when we need it, we're not surprised.Black bugs swarming food on the counterThere was an infestation of tiny little black bugs in the kitchen, probably coming from the broken dishwasher that swarmed any food put on the counter. It took us multiple days to get it under control.Dropping of ant & roach killer is not an acceptable response. Your team should have either dealt with the infestation. The living room smelled bad, from the broken dishwasher.

Good afternoon, Conor! Thank you kindly for your feedback. We’re sorry parts of your stay were frustrating and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. We provided both the street address and a web-based Google Maps link, which can be opened on any device. You later mentioned you use Apple Maps, but that was not communicated prior to arrival. Once you reached out, we responded immediately with direct turn-by-turn directions. We will be updating our arrival instructions to include both Google and Apple Maps links to avoid any future confusion. Regarding the dishwasher and microwave, replacement parts had already been ordered for the dishwasher prior to your stay. The microwave had not been reported as inoperable by the previous guests, so we are a bit confused and replaced it as soon as we found out. As soon as you notified us about the odor, we had housekeeping clean out the dishwasher to prevent further inconvenience. We apologize that this was not communicated more clearly in advance. When informed about the bugs, we promptly delivered treatment. The home is also on a professional monthly pest control schedule. While tropical climates can occasionally bring increased insect activity, we take these concerns seriously and respond quickly. As a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to offer you 10% off a future stay at any of our properties. We truly value our guests and hope to provide you with a smoother experience next time.

Great Place in Frenchman's Bay

This was the perfect property to maintain social distance , be safe and enjoy great views. The house is amazing and well equipped. Great for families with older kids given the bedroom setup. Management was responsive and helpful. Will definitely rent again.

Beautiful Property

Great place to stay. Beautiful property. They provided tremendous service and help with making reservations for all of our activities. Absolutely the BEST service!! Our only disappointment was that the path to the beach below was not available to us. I was really looking forward to morning and evening walks on the beach.

Unfortunately the Marriott is doing hurricane reconstruction and Morningstar beach is effectively closed. However the beach on the back side of the property, Lime Tree Beach, is open and easy to reach from CalypsoBlu.

Anniversary paradise

My husband and I spent 8 days here for our anniversary. The house was perfect. The views were amazing! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking meals. We were very centrally located. Which made driving easy. The views from the bedrooms were beautiful. The sun set was beautiful from the balcony every night. We will definitely stay in this villa again. And loved the pool and privacy!! #25yearsofchasingsunsetstogether

Best Family Vacation Ever!

The house was perfect for our family of four with two adult kids. The view was even more spectacular in person. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Great location, convenient to everything with a sense of being remotely located. Walking to the beach was a challenge, but was a fun adventure. The only cons were very low water pressure in the showers especially the lower room. And the upper room AC could not keep up with the heat while we were there. Overall we loved it and plan on coming back.

Thanks for your feedback. We addressed the AC issue by replacing the unit and the water pressure has been corrected. With that said, it is a cistern fed system and the pressure is unlikely to ever be as good as we have at home on the mainland. Your feedback is appreciated.

Absolutely gorgeous property with stunning views! The property was as described and was very well stocked. The property had almost everything you could want in the kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and enjoyed grilling out by the pool. It was the perfect property for three couples to share as each bedroom had an en suite and were very private. Our drive to the property the first day was challenging - we missed a few turns - but after the first trip we knew the landmarks and it was no problem. Justin the property manager was very helpful and responsive. There was a problem with the AC on Sunday afternoon and he had someone at the property to fix the problem within two hours of our call. He provided suggestions for our vacation including descriptions of the local beaches and restaurant suggestions. He put us in touch with their concierge which helped us book a full day private charter with Caribbean Alibi Boat Charters with Captain Jesse which was one of our favorite days!We highly recommend Villa Calypso Blu and hope to be back soon! Thank you for a very memorable vacation!

Had a few hiccups on arrival but Justin was right on it and got them resolved. The two things we would suggset would be a new bed in bedroom 3 and maybe adding a seperate ice machine.Fridge could not keep up.This was our 3rd time there and we will return.!!!

Nice but…

Wi-Fi was only available in the main living space. Bedrooms were unable to connect to Wi-Fi. All bedrooms being disconnected from the main living area/kitchen was not ideal. Well stocked kitchen. Needs new kitchen chairs. Pool was fabulous! Well stocked with sunscreen and floats for pool. Outdoor living space needs a TV.

Thanks for the review, Carrie. It appears the Mesh Network relay stations in the bedrooms were unplugged or simply needed restarted. In any case, you can always reach out to the on-island management company about any issues and they will promptly correct them. I've asked them to assess the bar stools and dining table chairs. When we were there last month they were all perfectly fine. But thanks for letting us know. We do replace or repair any item promptly. David Martin Owner

Great location, private, gorgeous views, comfortable home

We stayed a month at CalypsoBlu and enjoyed it! The owner clearly has tried to anticipate needs, and make his property a fine vacation rental. The management company was very helpful and responsive. The location is very good, just 10 minutes to Charlotte Amalie, stores and restaurants and 20 minutes the other direction to the Redhook area. It was fun to watch cruise ships leaving the harbor as they come quite close. The private pool is excellent, and was used often for a refreshing dip! The way the 3 bedrooms are laid out, each is very private and quiet. The A/C is excellent in the main room and bedrooms. One downside is the long unpaved and rocky private driveway which makes going and coming somewhat of a chore. Overall we had a wonderful time at CalypsoBlu!

Our property begins at the paved drive. But good news. The roadway received extensive work just after your departure and it is now smooth and easy to navigate. So that problem is solved! Central location to all things VI!

The house was as described and ready for our arrival. Our only negative were the 2 primary en-suites were on the same side of the house (upper & lower). It didn't deter our enjoyment & we had a great week regardless. Kitchen was well equipped with the essentials & we had everything we needed for the week. Pool was chilly but comfortable & offered relaxation on our lazy 'home' days. Central location kept us close to both ends of the islands & we took the car ferry to St. John several times. Great hiking on both islands once you are off the beaten path. Check out Lanai Restaurant which is just around the corner from the house & beachfront, we ate there several times! Great communication from hosts/staff before, during & after our stay.
