Enjoy this 4500 sq ft Log Home w/wrap around covered porch on 17 flat wooded acres. 12 beds-2 Kings, 4 Queens, 5 twins, & 1 toddler bed. Three first floor bedrooms-a King with an attached full bath, another first floor King bedroom & a Queen bedroom share another full bath. Extremely large additional bedrooms upstairs with queen beds, several twin beds, & toddler bed with a moveable privacy screen. An additional full bath upstairs. Open kitchen, living room, & sunroom for entertaining. Perfect for large families, Xmas parties, reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, and groups of couples. Has Pickleball, adjustable height basketball hoop, kids playset, 3 car garage, & parking for up to 12 vehicles, boats, campers, or trailers. 3 sofas w/6 total recliners. Commercial size freezer, refrigerator, gas stove, propane grill, and most kitchen accessories needed for entertaining. Dining room table seats 8 and 4 seats at kitchen island. Banquet table and extra seats available if requested in advance. Work from office w/high speed internet & cell service. Walking/ATV/horse trail. Lake Reba Park & Richmond 5-10 min away. Peaceful seclusion. Cornhole, foosball, volleyball, and mini ping pong/pool tables. Short walk to the pond. Plenty of room for ATV, boat, or camper parking if hitting the nearby ATV trails or lakes. Over 20 different species of trees to identify leaves with the kids-leaf ID book provided, Lincoln logs, and other games. Upstairs recliner and two TVs upstairs for kids to watch movies or play video games (game system not provided). Cuddle by the fire or porch bed swing with your loved ones or relax on the porch in rocking chairs. Receive a massage from your loved ones on the massage table or the massage chair in the bedroom or outside on the porch. Eat outside with the wildlife at your private oasis. Entire house and 17 acres all yours to enjoy-don't have to share with others. Self check in/out with electronic keypad lock. ATV parks/trails, Daniel Boone Forest, Natural Bridge State Park, Red River Gorge, and Lexington within one hour. Ark Encounter 75 min away & Creation Museum a little further. Guidebook can be emailed prior to your stay and a copy will be provided in the family room. Please message host with a booking inquiry if you would like to stay within the next 60 days, you have a large group and are unable to stay for three or more nights. Additional fees could apply for large # of guests/pets. There are outside security cameras that record at times. Guest making reservation may have to provide government photo ID to host if requested.

Very nice and large cabin. Had everything we needed for our trip. Big yard with games and lots of room for a large family.

The house was beautiful with tons of things for the kids to do!! Also the adults had fun playing the games at the large dinning room table! Lots of space and beds for everyone! We loved the pond too!!The only thing we struggled with was finding the driveway. It was hard to see the address on the mailbox and it's really dark at night.

Enjoy the seclusion

The property is hidden behind trees, not too far from the nearest town. Hitting major cities is a bit of a drive but the seclusion is the sell and allure!

Secluded Cabin

I would absolutely rent this 4500 sq ft cabin again for just two people. The cabin is peaceful clean odorless. The deer playing in the woods were a bonus. Thank you Matt and Vicki.

Beautiful, peaceful & relaxing

We are a group of 6 ladies who met in bible study and have bonded through the years. This was our 12th year for our annual girls' trip, and Vicki's house was perfect for us. We had plenty of room, the kitchen is spacious and well stocked, and everyone enjoyed the solitude. A few of the ladies enjoyed taking daily walks and exploring the property. Vicki was quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had as well. I would definitely recommend staying here...you won't be sorry!

Accurate Post & Great Vacation.

We had family travel in from multiple states to meet up in a central location. The house was perfect! Kids were able to stay upstairs and adults could sleep downstairs. The house was clean, had everything advertised plus some, and the owner was great. We asked a few questions and they were responsive and accommodating. The trail around the property was decently maintained and a nice walk. We saw all sorts of critters.

Family weekend

This home worked well for our family weekend. We had a large group and the house accommodated our family well. Large and well equipped kitchen. The large wrap around porch was great for our family to enjoy, relax, and visit. The property had a small pond that gave the grandkids a chance to going fishing. The kids also got an opportunity to feed the chickens. Lots of outdoor games and activities to keep them entertained. Host was very accommodating.

Beautiful

Very nice wooded area. Enjoyed the accomadations. I neglected to inquire about handicap accessability so that was a bit of a challenge for us but we managed. The cabin was very spacious. Having to enter through the front door then coming back to the doors at the garage for unloading/loading wasnt very convenient. Overall we would certainly stay here again and also highly recommend these accommadations to others!

Fall Fam Retreat

Wonderful property that fit our family's needs perfectly. the only negative comment is that it was somewhat difficult for older family members to enter and exit the cabin as there are no handrails on outside stairs or grab bars in showers. An additional large stock pot would also have been helpful in cooking for large groups! We had a wonderful time and will come back!! thank you for making our weekend possible!

We are glad you had a wonderful time and will look into adding a large stock pot and grab bars. We do have a handrail on the steps that enter the home from the garage and we will likely add one to the two steps on the backyard.

Wonderful home in the country!

We arrived late afternoon and had no issues with accessing the home. It’s in a safe and quiet neighborhood at the end of the road, private with a huge yard, We enjoyed the large family room and kitchen, which was well equipped and had almost every appliance you can imagine. Our men liked being outside with the fire pit. The bedrooms were comfortable and beds had good mattresses for a restful night sleep. Plenty of hot water for showers, We would highly recommend this lovely home in Waco and hope to return again soon! We had a great vacation. Thank you.

Perfect Family Break

This property was in the perfect loacation for our family to come together for my mother's 83rd birthday. We were looking for a place where we could just hang out, relax and enjoy each other without feeling like we had to be planning every minute and this cabin delivered. We really appreciated the large selection of card and board games. We also made use of the large variety of outdoor games. The fire pit was awesome at the end of the day. Our entire family had a great time. One thing to keep.in mind is that GPS may end aittle.before you get.to the drive. Look for the mailbox with the address and the sign that says private drive. We wiĺl definitely return as it is 3 to 4 hours for each member of our family to get to it.

Absolutely Beautiful Home

My huge family came to stay for a Cheer Competition and when I spotted this home online I was in awe. Now Seeing the pictures were wonderful however In person was breath taking. Such a beautiful home inside and outside. My dad loved how huge the kitchen was as he loves to cook. So many rooms and beds. The house all the way around was just wonderful! The play ground and stuff in the garage for the kids to do was so much fun as we as a family played pickle ball. I actually learned to play haha. The home was spotless. So clean. Communication was spot on. No problems. If I could give more than a five star I would. Thank you so much for letting my big family come and stay at y’all’s home! If we come back that way we definitely are booking again. Thank you for allowing us to create new family memories at y’all’s beautiful home. Thank you again. Anna

This is our second year staying at this "cabin", and we enjoyed it each time. The home is very spacious and conducive to hosting a large group. The access to a 3 stall garage and large concrete parking area was a bonus. Vicky is very responsive a well!

No comments from the guest for the rating or comments were blocked by VRBO for violating terms of service. There was a message from her for a refund for pet fees, but she was never charged for a pet and she was told and showed that-not sure if the rating was a mistake, but it doesn’t make sense based off the communications with her before, during, and after her stay. At the beginning of the stay, I tell guests to message if there is anything they need or want to make their stays more enjoyable. I always try to make sure the guests enjoy their stay.
