Poorly maintained, needs a deep cleaning(coffee pot needs replaced, mold on interior of windows, palmetto droppings in kitchen drawers, mold on central air vents, bathroom vents loaded with lint/dust, etc). Beds are in need of replacement as there are indentations from use. Kitchen drain was clogged. The smell hits you as soon as you open the door and it lingers.

Great condo with wonderful patio

This condo has been nicely redone. Our favorite was the accordion glass doors to the patio. In the evenings and mornings it was so nice to have them all the way open. The kitchens and bathrooms were redone nicely. The pool and hot tub were great too. The pool was nicely heated and the hot tub was used almost everyday day since it was chilly while we were there.

Enjoyed the stay for the most part.

Condominium was as described. Nice, Clean. Affordable. Enjoyed our stay for the most part. But if you are looking for calm stay with few people, this is not it. There is 12 units at this address it was very busy during our stay. There is a huge public beach access very close to the property so the beach had a lot of people on it.

Summer Getaway

This is our 3rd stay. Communication was good with the property manager. My only concern was the gates to pool/beach access were never closed on one occasion there were young adults not guests at the pool. They were loud, acting inappropriate, I did reach out to host. This didn’t happen again.

I have stayed at this property 4 years. First time in this unit. The unit overall needs general maintenance. The air vents were dirty. The floors were not cleaned. One of the twin beds was broken.The living room TV would turn off after an hour. There was an issue with roaches. The overhead lights in bedrooms flicker. The property has over grown landscape that obstructed view of beach. Overall, was disappointed with accommodations. Will look for different location next year.

Overall Great Experience!

The unit was as described and amenities were great! We had some parking issues that were no fault of the management company, but the communication regarding ongoing repairs were not communicated accurately or timely. Overall they did a wonderful job and were very responsive, but communication was a little lacking. All that said, It was a wonderful place with a fantastic view of the sunset. We had a wonderful time

4th of July Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having stayed at Sunset Paradise before we were excited to return. Overall the condo was good. No major issues. However, we did feel that it was not as clean as it should be! The floors were swept but didn’t seem to be mopped. As our feet were black on the bottom from walking barefoot. Some of the blinds had layers of dust. And lastly the master bedroom stays much warmer than any other room.

Family Vacation 2024

Property was immaculate upon arrival. Exactly as pictured. The fridge was not cold, after calling they had brought us a dorm fridge (from their office) to help until they could get the fridge replaced. It was replaced during our stay with a new fridge. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. View is AMAZING! Pool/hot tub were wonderful! Maintained everyday! We used the hot tub every night. Beds were comfortable. Loved the rain shower head! We will most definitely be back! The location is perfect as well, walked to several places during our week for food, drinks and ice cream! I will say based on other comments, there was NO mold smell the entire week we were there. It was fresh and clean.

Review of Sunset Paradise Unit #11

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has great views of the gulf. However the unit is dated and has clearly not been taken care of over the years. The cleaning crew did not do a good job cleaning the unit for our arrival. The kitchen could use new and or additional accessories. We have been staying at Sunset Paradise every year since 2004 and it is clear this unit is original. We think it is time for the owner to make some updates. We will most likely not be back to this unit. We will stay with unit #16 which has been updated and shows pride of owenership.

Beautiful condo overlooking the ocean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful 3 bedroom open concept condo with a very welcoming vibe. There is assigned parking and an elevator to make your stay hassle free. Our party of five enjoyed our stay and every evening on the balcony watching the sunset. Condo had all the basics for cooking, full fridge, and for your beach adventures there is an umbrella, beach chairs, and a few toys and sand buckets. You are steps from the beach and you have access to a nice pool and hot tub. While we stayed on the first of three floors, our upstairs neighbors where mostly respectful of noise early morning and late at night. We really appreciated the recycle bins next to the trash located near the parking area so it was easy to recycle as we were leaving instead of adding to our host's landfill. We would rent this location again. Our only issue this stay was a broken bar stool (wood screw wouldn't go back in), which we we're in need of. By the way, check in and check out super easy at the off site office for this property. The staff very friendly and helpful.

College kids gone wild

Groups of college kids who were only 21 rented several units in Sunset Paradise our first week. Made things very annoying. Partied by the pool late into the night. The unit was not cleaned well. It lacked a good, clean coffee pot and toaster to use. The unit filter was very dirty and we changed that and the shower curtain liner. The unit had an odor I could not get rid of. No cleaning supplies at all. I purchased them and left them for future use. Also purchased a clean mop to do the floors. The outside deck light switch was broken. The switch had to be held up to work definitely a safety hazard. We had ants in the unit due to a big hole in the heater room. No screens in bedroom windows. The view was beautiful but for the money will never rent that unit again.

View was gorgeous! Condo was clean! We had no issues checking in or out. There was covered parking. Enough supplies to get us started. Some light fixtures and lamps were broken. WiFi was slow but useable. I don’t have complaints but compared to others we’ve stayed in this condo just had a little less. BUT I would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for a great spring break.

Great Spring Break with Extended Framily

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a party of five - grandparents, daughter, 12 yr old granddaughter + friend. Property is exactly as shown in photos. Very clean and updated. Beds were ok. Kitchen is well-equipped, if a bit quirky. The induction range is great! Kitchen cabinets aren't fully functional account tight spaces, can't open dishwasher and fridge at same time - definitely a one person space. Previous guests had left trash bags, ziplock bags, salt/pepper, oil, foil. Bathrooms are nice, but no plug for the tub - showers for all. Hallway bath toilet slow, needed plunging a couple of times. Four smart TV's in the unit, kids enjoyed the choices. Spectrum cable a bit glitchy - had to do a hard reboot on the living room cable box daily.The beach, pool and hot tub are spectacular. We walked the beach daily, the kids were always in the water somewhere. There were days when we didn't use the rental car - walk to shops, ice cream, coffee, etc. Be advised that the awesome view from this unit come with a price - noise around the pool. The entire week there was a boy in the pool we named "Screech" - we couldn't leave the door to the balcony open when he was in the pool, which seemed to be all the time. His parents were oblivious, used earplugs or drank a lot. Or some combination of the three. The college age crowd was mostly quiet and respectful and toned down their antics when called out by the 12 year old granddaughter. ;-) (They really were fine, especially compared to what you see on TV re: Spring Break.)Other than the cautionary note about pool noise, the only negative was the lack of beach towels. When asked, management reiterated what is in the instructions - no beach equipment provided, including towels. This unit had an umbrella, club chairs, inflatables and noodles courtesy of prior guests, but we had to make a Target run to get decent beach towels.The good far outweighs the few negatives, would definitely stay again!
