Come and completely relax in this comfortably rustic three-bedroom home perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the scenic, storied Mendocino Coast. Located on a quiet, gated road ideally situated West of famed California Highway One, this cozy retreat is perfect for a family vacation, a weekend with friends, or a romantic getaway.
A beautiful eight mile drive from the historic village of Mendocino, this is the perfect home base for wine tasting, beach combing, kayaking, hiking, biking or shopping. Simply relaxing is fine, too, and you will find the peaceful setting and sea air perfect for sipping a local wine on the expansive porch, soaking in the private hot tub, or reading that book you've been trying to find time for. Treat yourself to the many fine local restaurants, or stay in and create a gourmet meal of your own in the fully equipped kitchen.
Each of the three bedrooms feature brand-new luxury pillow-top Queen-size bedsets. There are two bathrooms; one featuring a vintage claw-foot tub perfect for a warm bath, and the other a double shower. All linens are of course provided, as well as an assortment of games, jigsaw puzzles and books to enjoy. Relax or be inspired; it's up to you!

This location exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well set up (three sizes of cast-iron skillets--heaven!), the view was perfect, and we had four folks on a writing retreat with plenty of space to meet all together or work separately. And stargazing in the hot tub at night with the waves crashing in the distance was just a delight. Great stay!

Cute house with everything we needed for our stay! Very nice and peaceful location in the gated community. The only thing need to mention is that tap water had some residues ( probably iron as it had orange shade) but we are glad that house had several gallons of purified water from the grocery store so we could use it for drinking and cooking.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanfront home near Mendocino. The house was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and perfectly set up for a relaxing coastal getaway. You can’t beat the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the ocean. It truly made our visit to Mendocino special.Markey was an incredible host — responsive, kind, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our stay. What stood out most was her generosity in returning a piece of jewelry my wife had accidentally left behind. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fantastic house. The views were incredible, and we really enjoyed the wrap around porch, hot tub, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and that it was so comfortable for our pup as well. Right off the highway but not noisy. Super easy quick communication with the owner too. Would definitely recommend, and we would for sure stay here again!

Our favorite feature of this vacation home is how utterly relaxing it is. Even when we visit with all intentions to accomplish work away from work, the relaxation gene kicks in unexpectedly, and all tensions or stress from our work-a-day life melt away.
