Located just 7 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, the Ponderosa features a large main floor master, upper bedroom with 2 beds, large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, reading area with leather recliners, den with workspace, and 2 outdoor porches. Grill up a meal, relax by the fire in one of our swivel rockers, and enjoy the stars.

Wonderful property!! It had everything we needed. The outside space is so nice. It was clean and the beds were so comfortable, perfect after long hikes. Short drive to the park. The management went above and beyond!

Check in was extremely easy. The Ponderosa was decorated perfectly with a woodsy outdoor theme. The beds were so comfortable. We cooked breakfast and dinner. Steaks on the grill. Outdoor seating with firepit. It felt like being in our own home. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Close to the park

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this rental property. The house was only 10 minutes from the park, minutes from a well stocked grocery store and near several restaurants. The house had everything we needed , a washing machine, dishwasher, easy parking, comfortable beds and a large TV to unwind with at night. Bear spray was an added bonus! We had great communication with the owner as well.

Glacier Vacation

Property was very clean and was exactly as described. It is locarlted within minutes of Glacier National Park. The Zipline Park next door is also a lot of fun if you have kids. The IGA 5 minutes away has reasonably priced food. The only negative was the Wifi amd cell towers were down for part of a day. I messaged the owner and she got back with me promptly with a status. This is a great property to stay at if you are visiting GNP. Highly recommended.

Our family of 7 has outgrown our family home and decided to renovated it and transform it into a beautiful vacation home. This home is perfect for those who want more room than a cabin, want to be close to the park and near the hungry horse reservoir. Within walking distance are several family friendly activities and restaurants. A short drive away you will find a grocery store, Lake 5, the river, national forest and Airport.
