Nice retreat away from the city bustle

This is a 20-min drive from Franklin, but worth the scenery and just perfect for my taste. Simple cozy yet elegant, with everything needed for a getaway. Privacy was unmatched. I was not there during the day, but evenings were quiet. Outside you can hear a hum of passing cars on Hwy96, but nothing heard from inside. Even occasional thump/thud muted from upstairs, there were zero sleep interruptions, and I truly felt like I had the whole place to myself. I will definitely book this place again, and on the same grounds, the carriage house looks nice too!

Such a peaceful location!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was the perfect mix of close enough to everything to travel, and far enough from everything to fully relax. The view from the hot tub was everything, out in the woods, with nothing to see but the trees you really felt like you could just unwind. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, our one year old and I.

Lovely little getaway in the trees

It was exactly as it was described online. Very quiet in the woods. I loved listening to all of the birds. It was just what we needed.

Very quaint, quiet little 1 bedroom suite. It has all the amenities that you would need for a quiet and relaxing weekend trip. Our host were accommodating to our needs.

Beautiful Woodland Cabin Retreat

The property, accommodations and hosts were wonderful. We experienced a nice, peaceful, wooded, cabin retreat. A joy to stay at outside of the main center of town. Any concern we had was handled promptly. Only 1 concern, as Senior Citizens, we had to walk down several soft railroad tie steps in order to access our downstairs living quarters and the outside light was placed in a spot that we couldn't see the key lock without a flashlight at night.

Great and cute place to stay for the last 2 days of our trip. There is only a hot plate, so I think I would be hard to stay here long than that. Lovey decor, in a very lovely neighborhood.

We built this cozy, custom timber frame cabin for our home and to start a vacation rental business. We have lived in the Nashville area for 10 years and wanted to move to the country to build our dream home and enjoy the beautiful Gatlinburg-like surroundings. We have always enjoyed nature and wildlife but also wanted to be close to the modern conveniences that a city like Nashville has to offer, as well as the charm of historic Franklin and historic Leipers Fork area. The Natchez Trace Bridge is 2 miles from our home. Of course, the music aspect of our area can't be ignored!
