Big Family Fun!

Our stay at the Surf Shack exceeded all of our expectations. The house beautifully decorated, clean, more than roomy enough for our 4-family large group and the river front location was perfect! We look forward to coming back to stay again.

Great place

Fantastic spot for a large family. Everything was spotless. Really easy to get in and out. Perfect distance from town so its quiet but still close enough to run get last minute groceries.

Great place!!

The place was beautiful!!!!! Really enjoyed the outside porch areas facing the river. Im rating it a 4 because there was no kayak or canoe there like it says on the listing.

We had a great time. The property was beautiful. We are a group of pickleball friends so of course we would have loved to have a pickleball court in the front of the property but we had a great time.

Best place Ever!!!

This property is amazing!!! The house is beautiful and is fully equipped with anything you need. My family floats the river every year and this was by far the best place we have stayed. We will definitely say here again!!!!

Surf Shack

We loved our stay at the Surf Shack! Great space inside and out. Cabin had lots of extras and everything we needed. I like to try different cabins but this one will be hard to beat. Highly recommend for a large group!

Perfect for a large family group. River was great! We had a really good time playing games in the main area of this house. The decks were better than expected! We will be booking again!

We enjoyed our stay at Surf Shack! It’s a beautiful house and a wonderful location! The downstairs ac has a hard time keeping cool during the heat of the day but once the sun sets it’s all good.

Large family in for reunion

We have a large family and our extended family hosted a reunion in Glenwood. Our family of 12 stayed quite comfortably at the Surf Shack on the Caddo River. Beautiful home, beautiful scenery, accommodating, and welcoming. We had a great stay. Thank you.

I can not express how amazing this home and area is ! This will be our go to vacation home from on !! Owners were amazing any issues they were fast to respond!! We are already planning next year !!!!

Awesome!

The owners respond almost immediately and are very nice! We had no issues during our stay there. The house was very clean and spacious. Absolutely loved it! The kids and us adults had a great time. I love that it’s right there by the water too. Will definitely be going back.

Perfect family get away on the Caddo River

This place was perfect for our large family get together. The two living areas allow a getaway when needed. There were two masters with their own private bathrooms and the two additional bathrooms provided ample facilities. The main area of the cabin has enough room for everyone to come together for meals and family games. The location on the river allows for a perfect float down to the take out at the park in Glenwood. There were plenty of cooking utensils and pans. The stay was amazing.

Annual Family River Trip

Every year we try a different cabin in this area to find one that works perfect for our group of 10. We will, without doubt, choose this cabin again. There was more than enough elbow room for our stay -- special mention to the kitchen and dining space. This has been our battle in all the other cabins. We loved the extra pantry space, access to towels and extra sheets, and the double laundry meant we all went home with clean clothes. Overall it was a clean and lovely stay.

Surf Shack

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was huge and spacious! The listing does say 6 twin beds in the last bedroom but there were only 3 twin beds when we showed up. So it’s a good thing some of our guest couldn’t attend otherwise we wouldn’t have had enough room for all of them to sleep. Besides that it was stunning and we enjoyed our stay and it ended up being perfect for the amount of people we had.

Brooklyn, thanks so much for your response, and we are so happy you enjoyed your stay! There are 6 twin beds in bedroom five. They are trundle beds, so they just simply pull out from underneath the top twin bed. We will update our description to let everyone know to do so but, you should have been able to see the other twin mattress underneath. So sorry!

We had a family weekend get away and it was awesome. The house was exactly as shown in the pics, view of the river was great, house was very spacious for a large group, met some great people next door to us during our stay, can’t say enough good things about the house. We will definitely be back again
