Lahaina Shores is a rare gem on Maui’s west side—an oceanfront resort that continues to welcome guests with the aloha spirit that has made it a favorite for decades. While Lahaina’s historic town center is still in the process of rebuilding after the August 2023 fire, this special retreat offers a serene escape where guests can relax, recharge, and be part of the island’s healing journey.

The beach in front of Lahaina Shores now feels wonderfully peaceful—uncrowded and perfect for a morning swim, a barefoot stroll, or watching Maui’s famous sunsets paint the sky.

Unit 103 delivers an effortless blend of luxury and island living. This beautifully upgraded 1-bedroom, 2-bath condo opens directly onto the resort’s oceanfront lawn from your private lanai, with the pool and sandy beach just steps away. Inside, you’ll find elegant furnishings, high-quality finishes, and a bright, coastal design that makes the space both stylish and comfortable. The ground-floor setting makes beach days easy—simply walk out with your gear, grill dinner at the barbecue area, or relax on the lanai with morning coffee while watching whales (in season), surfers, and rainbows over the horizon.

The condo comes fully equipped with everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen, beach chairs, and a cooler for exploring Maui. Within a short drive, you can enjoy shopping and popular local food trucks that serve a variety of island flavors.at Cannery Mall or dine at beloved West Maui restaurants such as Mala Ocean Tavern, Honu Oceanside, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle. A little farther north, Kaanapali Beach offers world-class snorkeling, cliff diving at Black Rock, resort shopping, and sunset catamaran cruises.

It couldn’t have been more perfect! This condo is absolutely stunning, roomie, and beautiful not to mention the beautiful grass lawn directly in front of the ocean is a perfect place to catch the sun! It is so close to the ocean that we open the screen doors and listen to the waves all day! This is a 10 out of 10!

Our stay was very pleasant. The beach was indeed right out our window, and we could hear the ocean from our patio. Very peacefulWe had issues mainly with parking. We were told we had to pay for parking which we did, and yet there were not enough parking spots for us, and apparently for others listening to discussions at the front desk.If a guest pays for parking there should be enough parking for all who pay.

Maybe “hotel “ size shampoo, conditioner, lotions. More cleaning supplies It seemed we were maybe the first renters since updating. Everything was new, (except stove) and that was really nicely done. Some woodwork around the cabinets was unfinished. A few of the self closing drawers didn’t actually close. And a couple of plumbing issues with dishwasher and dish disposal but the Handyman got on those right away. Front sliding door lock was sticky and hard to actually lock up, but we got it done. Just pointing these things out as observations for you. We’re completely happy.

We’ve shared the maintenance notes with our team, and we’re happy our handyman could take care of the plumbing issues quickly. For toiletries, we leave it to our guests to bring their favorite shampoo, conditioner, and lotions, since everyone has their own preferences, but will definitely take it into consideration. A Perfect Rental!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 103 is a wonderful one-bedroom unit on the ground floor. Room was updated, clean, and perfect for our one week stay in July. Came the week of 4th of July and were able to watch fireworks from the beach - just footsteps from our room. Having in-room laundry was a bonus as well! Can’t wait to go back!

It’s A Winner!

I’ve been to Maui more times than I can remember — but our first time staying in a rental unit and we couldn’t have been happier with the location, the unit and the property managers responsiveness. A few things: 1. Location and proximity to a BEAUTIFUL, not crowded beach A++. We rented for the last 3 days of our 7 day trip. We didn’t need a car for anything and walked to shop, grocery shop, eat and drink. 2. The unit itself is awesome. Everything is nice and new & the view from the kitchen & family room are incredible. 3. If you have to do any work while you are vacationing, the set up here is GREAT! I’m an early riser/worker and the configuration for one person working and one sleeping is fantastic. Close the bedroom door and you have access to everything including early calls while walking on an empty beach. A++ 4. The bed is SUPER comfortable. It’s also super firm, but we loved it. 5. TWO full bathrooms is so so nice! 6. Property manager was VERY responsive when we were looking for beach chairs and umbrella and had questions about the TV. High praise! 7. Parking is only $4/day and very close to the unit + check in at the front desk was a breeze and the gentleman working the desk was very friendly. Any downsides? One minor one, but we knew this going in. 1. If you want a luxury pool experience, this isn’t your place. But the ocean is steps away from the unit and the pool area, while small, was clean and not very busy - ever.
