Welcome to Casa Tortuga! A stunning, spacious Spanish-style home with a large tree-lined outdoor patio and private 2 car covered parking located just 2 blocks from the beach and Numero Uno Beach House! The home is newly renovated and comfortably sleeps 10+ guests in the 5 designer bedrooms (8 beds + 2 sofa beds). Casa Tortuga is in the perfect location for beach days, nightlife, and gastronomic tourism. We are excited to be your luxury home away from home during your stay in Puerto Rico!
The space
The entire 5 bedroom home is designed with your comfort in mind. Included on the property is a detached guest house ("casita") with its own kitchen, living room, and bedroom, as well as secure, covered parking for 2 vehicles. Casa Tortuga is family friendly and our many amenities include a high chair, pack-and-play crib, and beach toys for little ones. A full-power back-up generator will ensure you stay cool throughout any of the power outages that are, unfortunately, a relatively common occurrence in Puerto Rico.

The Master king-size bedroom features an en-suite master bathroom, shower, and jacuzzi, huge 70" TV, walk-in closet, and a fold-down full-size murphy bed.

We have 4 additional bedrooms that feature queen size beds with our comfortable mattresses and linens: a queen room with direct patio access, a queen room overlooking the beautiful garden with an additional full-size murphy bed, a double queen room with two queen beds and, finally, an independent queen room located in the private casita on the other side of the patio.

The property is fully equipped with a large kitchen for cooking, full size appliances, dining area and breakfast nook, as well as a washer and dryer for use during your stay. Every room has brand-new, high-power A/C and perfect connectivity to our 1,000 mbps fiber optic wireless mesh network with battery back-up.

The large patio area has dining and lounging options, an outdoor shower with a premium rain shower head, and an original, recently restored Spanish-style water fountain--all shaded by the gorgeous flora, trees, and manicured garden that surround the property. The high walls around the entire perimeter of the property ensure your privacy and security.

Casa Tortuga is, of course, a beach house and comes fully prepared for your beach vacation: comfortable beach chairs, ample beach towels, a cooler, beach games, and snorkel gear are included!
Guest access
All areas are available to my guests, including guaranteed covered parking for 2 vehicles on the property. I just ask that you respect our neighbors and do not create excessive noise or play loud music due to the quiet and exclusive nature of the gated Ocean Park neighborhood.
Other things to note
Casa Tortuga is one of the few Airbnbs in San Juan to include a full-size generator on the property, as well as guaranteed on-property parking for 2 vehicles. We are also located in the most convenient spot within Ocean Park--directly across from the guardhouse/entrance, ensuring you can quickly walk anywhere (only 2 blocks to the restaurant/bar strip of Calle Loíza), as well as only 2 blocks in the other direction to the best stretch of the best beach in the city!
