It is pretty much exactly what you see in the photographs – a beautiful and cozy, yet also spacious and comfortable cabin sitting on top of a hill right above Lake Michigan. The backyard has a decent-sized deck, from which you can see the horizon in front of you (perfect for watching sunsets in the evenings), but also, if you look down below, you will see and hear the waves of Lake Michigan gently rolling onto the beach below. The hill has quite a lot of trees growing on it, so it’s not what you would call a completely unobstructed view, but honestly, it does not in any way interferes with The beach area is accessible by taking a long staircase down to it. The deck features a high top with a couple of high chairs and a dining table for four, possibly six persons.

Peaceful getaway

The property was amazing the views and the beach were stunning! Loved all of the cozy places to chill and relax at Lagom. We will definitely be staying again! You guys got this place right!

Lagum

Lagum is a log home nestled amongst the trees overlooking Lake Michigan. If you are looking for “fancy,” this may not be the perfect fit for you. But, it was perfect for me and 6 adult children. The covered porch with hot tub was cozy when it rained, the overlook deck provided beautiful views of Lake Michigan and sun sets. The home was clean, comfortable and a wonderful additional vacation to our log cabin on Lake Huron. The immaculate kitchen had all the necessary and extra appliances. The grill, hot tub, bathrooms and bedrooms very clean. The range of board games, cards and home theater provided opportunities for entertainment when we weren’t enjoying the fire pit, beach and talking on the porch. Although we had beach towels and shower soap, some people may need to remember to pack those items. We plan to book a vacation for next year. Lagum provided just what we needed for children coming from Chicago and different areas of Michigan, with all of us being to enjoy time together within or no more than a 3 hour drive.
