Borders Whitefish Dunes State Park; Playa privada de arena. Enorme sala de juegos!

Nuestra casa de 4000 pies cuadrados fue construida en 2004. ¡Está hermosamente equipado para alojar hasta 15 personas! Nuestra casa limita con el famoso Statefish Dunes State Park con la playa de arena privada. NO está directamente sobre el agua, pero nuestra playa privada de arena está a solo 2 minutos a pie (o 326 pies) desde nuestra puerta principal. Ubicado en un área exclusiva y aislada, bordeando un parque estatal (1000 acres), a solo 15-20 minutos de las pintorescas tiendas del pueblo. Camina, monta en bicicleta o practica el esquí de fondo desde la puerta principal

Our family vacation

We had a great time here. The house had plenty of room for our family of 9. The beach is beautiful. The path to the private beach is a hick not good if you wanted to take things with you to the beach.

My family absolutely loved the large home with so many beds and bedrooms and a basement full of fun activities. The property manager Fred is absolutely wonderful to work with and very prompt on answering any text. We enjoyed walking to the sand dunes and to cave point. The house was clean and very roomy. Soundproofing was also good between the floors and being on the end of a dead end was the ultimate in a quiet getaway.

Great Family Getaway

The location was excellent, very close to state and County Parks, and just a short walk to the beach. It rained our first night, but we had so much fun in the game room that it didn't matter. Overall great experience.

Perfect for large families or groups.

This house is huge, location for guests that want to do outdoor activities is amazing. The game room is perfect for raining days or for the guests that don't want to do the outdoor activities. We really liked the fact of how secluded the house was. Highly recommended!0p

This house provided everything we needed and Fred (the manager) was very responsive to our needs. Loved all the games in the rec room and the kids used them frequently. The beach can't be beat. The way to to the beach was a bit challenging. My 84 mother would not have been able to make it and at 72 it was rather difficult for me. Great place for a family of 10 and I would highly recommend it.

We do have a short path through the woods to get to our beach - we do mention this in our description. When this group mentions "Far from the rest of Door County. Lots of driving" it indicates to me that they prefer the other, more touristy side of the peninsula. Our home is on the "quiet side" of Door County on the border of an awesome state park yet we are just a 15 minute drive to Egg Harbor, a 20 minute drive to Fish Creek, Baileys Harbor, Ephraim.

Family Gathering

If you have a large group looking to get together in a beautiful part of the country, this is the place for you. Plenty of room with 6 bedrooms and easy access to a fantastic beach. The beach made our 2 year old grandson's day which allows small children to get in the shallow water or just play in the beautiful sand. The owner is responsive, flexible, and will do everything possible to make it an awesome stay.

Amazing location

What a perfect place to stay in Door County! There were nine of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was great, but the location and beach were absolutely amazing. Very quiet and private. The beach was one of the nicest we’ve been to in the US. The sand was so clean and soft. We had a lot of fun in the game room and just relaxing on the deck. Fred was a great host…responded quickly and friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Beach + games

There was so much space for our multigeneration family vacation. The whole family loved the beach and the well appointed game room. The kitchen/family room was so roomy. We're already thinking about coming back for the fall colors and more fishing in the creek. The property manager was so timely with answers to questions.

Terrific Beach

The property was nice, but a little run-down. Fred, the facility manager was very responsive to our issues. The downstairs bedrooms could use some curtains. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with lots of different options for the family. The best part was the beautiful, private beach.

Summer vacation in Door County.

This property is amazing! Great neighborhood, great location to the beach, which is literally across the street, and great access to the neighboring state park. Very quiet, peaceful area. The majority of the traffic is people walking their dogs. We had a great time while at the property. It had everything we needed for cooking meals. The basement/game room was an added bonus. My girls loved it! This was also a great location to go exploring the rest of Door County. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Communication with the property manager was great. Hope to come back some day!

Spacious and excellent location

The house is very spacious for a family with grown children and toddlers. It was ideal for our family. We enjoyed the game room as well as the quiet beach. The kitchen was large enough to prepare meals for the group. It was listed; therefore not a surprise to us, but I’ve never rented a VRBO with such limited linens. Yes, we could have purchased the service but it was at an excessive price. While the house was perfectly laid out, there was a shift in the foundation that was extreme. The property manager was excellent with communication and accommodated our needs.

Just as an FYI - we do have an issue with the foundation but it has been addressed - it is not getting any worse. It will not have any impact on your stay at our beautiful home. The only place you notice the shift is in the rec room on the basement level. Most people have so much fun in our rec room that they do not even notice.

Great property, difficult walk to beach

The problem we encountered was that, while the walk to the beach is very short, it is up and down steep inclines and declines on a narrow path through the woods. If you have someone in your group who has knee problems, like my father, they will not be able to walk on this path. It is also not possible to take a wagon or stroller on the path. Other than that, the property was very nice, no complaints.

Lake House

Love this area because of the beach. We spent every day there that we could. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing the house. The trail to the beach was manageable but not if you have mobility issues. The renters next door allowed a member of our group to use their beach access. The property manager was super responsive when we had a few minor issues the on the first day there. Immediately responded to questions. He offered us free kayaks for 2 days of our stay for the inconvenience. That was very generous, and we used them to kayak to a shipwreck just off of Cave Point. Being at the end of the road made for a very quiet stay and great access to Whitefish Dunes State Park trails. We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the firewood. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 teens. The lower level game room was huge hit. Glad we took advantage of the linen service with a group our size.

Wonderful family vacation

Ten of us stayed here for a week — 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 kids ranging in age from 9-13. The house worked really well for us! The game room was a hit with the kids and adults. The kitchen is large and probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in the 14 years since we’ve been renting houses. There was plenty of room for several of us to be working in the kitchen at the same time. The beds were all comfortable and the three zone AC worked perfectly. We absolutely loved the beach. It was a very short walk from the house. I (71 y/o) managed it without a problem. There was only one spot that was a little tricky but I was able to negotiate it with the help of a couple well-placed trees. Someone else might need an arm to hold on to. Cave Point park was amazing and beautiful and some in our family enjoyed the 2-mile walk from the house to the park that winds through the woods and along the lake.
