This is a must see home. It is over 25,000 square feet and is situated on over 33 acres of land. It is a two hour drive from New York City, and is less than 1/3 of a mile to the Delaware River. It is an excellent property for family reunions, family gatherings as well as corporate events. Feel free to call to see if your function is a fit 347. 739. 5915

The house is beautifully furnished. There are a tremendous amount of amenities at the house and on the property. The indoor pool is perfect for water volleyball and basketball. The pool is great for the little ones as it ranges from three to five feet deep. The pool room has a stereo system and plenty of seats. Other indoor amenities include: full size pool table, ping pong table, foosball, air hockey, shuffleboard, and a dance floor, complete with disco ball!

The living room has a gas powered fire place, a 65" plasma tv with high def cable.DVD player, surround sound. There is high speed internet with wifi.

Outdoor amenities include a full basketball court, fenced in softball field, two ponds with a small waterfall, shuffleboard court, paddleball court, and a nature trail that encompasses the 33 acre property.

The house is about 15 minutes from Big Bear Mountain where there is skiing, snowboarding and tubing. In the spring, summer and fall months there are many places for white water rafting and kayaking. There are many deer and wild turkey that roam the property frequently.

We had An amazing time at this house! There were so many bedrooms, and more than enough room for everyone on our trip. The house and pool were very clean, and the dining room was a great place for large family dinner. The kids loved the pool, game room and toy room! The owner and caretaker were easy to communicate with. Everyone loved the house, and would def Italy return!

What an amazing place!

My family of 30 stayed at the property and loved it! - All the rooms are the same size, no need to worry about someone getting a better room. -Great place for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves-Pool was amazing-Kitchen was well equipped and ready for large meal prep-Diane the host is so nice and helpful-Great blend of mixed bed types to allow couples and kids to find good sleeping setups.

Perfect space for large group

I plan a group cabin escape every year for my birthday. This year was by far one of the best because of the space. This mansion, although a little outdated, provided the space and opportunity for me to create an unforgettable experience for my guests and me. Amazing family or large group vacation home

We were 19 people 6-81. Loved all bedrooms were en suite, all had mini split air conditioning. Kitchen was large with lots of counter space. Very easy to have multiple people working at same time. Indoor swimming pool much appreciated. Only negative, that in no way interfered with our enjoyment, homes need some TLC. Painting, spackling, etc. nothing major, but noticeable. Will be returning next year!!

Rueda Family Renion

We had my parents 90th & 85th birthday and family reunion at the mansion. Frist, let me say that the images on VRBO do not give it justice. This mansion is so much more grand than the images show. We came with a family of 30 adults and 11 children and I can tell you that finding a place with 16 BR and 20 baths is not easy. Each room also had it's own outdoor exit to the porch or balcony. The indoor pool room was fabulous. We could get the kids out of there. They have a nice game room for the adults and a playroom for the children. The dinning room was grand. Yes, it needs some updates, but it didn't matter. Any issues were quickly fixed by the caretakers, Diane and Bernie. I highly recommend this place. Steven R

Everyone had a great time-- recommend it!

We very much enjoyed our MLK Jr. family vacation at the lovely Narrowsburg, NY house. As others have said, the house is truly grand and larger than the photos show. The indoor pool is large enough for a number of people to enjoy at the same time. We wondered if the house had been a resort at one time - the areas around the pool are generous and can accommodate a lot of folks lounging. We also enjoyed the grounds & some hiking. The kitchen seemed to read our minds having two sinks and plenty of counterspace to prepare a meal for a group. It's actually closer to 15 minutes to skiing, not too long and people were fine with running back & forth. There's a cool bridge by architect Roebling that connects NY with PA. We didn't get a chance to visit the Zane Grey Museum, western author. Overall the house was more than ample, Internet was fine, everything worked. You'll enjoy your stay here.

We had an excellent time at this unique house for a large family reunion vacation ages 1-70s. While the pictures are accurate for the style of the house, the layout and spaces relative to each other are difficult to show in pictures. There are a lot of great spaces throughout the house and even with around 30 people, we never felt remotely cramped. The weather for our week spanned extreme hot to pouring rain to perfect mild and sunny - and they were all great in this house. There was enough space and things to do inside when weather was not nice, and when it got nice we enjoyed the yard, basketball court, and large fire pit area. The kitchen was very functional, with multiple people able to work together or alone very easily. Fair warning - there are not great options for close grocery or delivery. The pool was amazing and kept heated to a great temp!Specialty info:Kids - this is a great property for kids, and they were equipped to block two of the pool entries, and childproof the third. This was especially good, as 6 of the bedrooms let out to the poolside area. Mobility - this property has 6 ground floor bedrooms, and requires 4 or less steps to get to most of the house. If we could have left the two additional pool sliders open or had them childproof, there would have been no steps required once inside the house, but as it was each half requires no steps. Many houses boasting ramps and grab bars have 1 ground floor bedroom, so this was great!We hope to be back!

We had 21 people, ages ranging from 18 to 86. We had great space for everyone. The game room was well used by all. To pool and bonfire were really fun. There is so much to see and do in the area that a week was not enough time. The property managers were fantastic!!!

The house is grand, the pool is larger than the pictures indicate and luxurious. The game room a huge plus with everything in excellent condition. The kitchen is large and set up to accommodate several cooks at one time with lots of onlookers, and the dining room table large enough to seat all of us. The porches were lovely, the grounds well kept and the fire pit a plus. Everything was in good condition and the owner and caretakers cooperative and easy to deal with. We had a grand time. and intend to come back..

Great Place!!

Very unique place and perfect for a large gathering. We were a group of high school friends with our families celebrating a 51st birthday, and this house was great for such a weekend. There are amenities to please everyone, and we found everything to be in working order. A weekend we will never forget, and I would definitely rent this house again.

A perfect large family retreat

The property was exactly as described, which was perfect for our large family retreat. Indoor pool, huge property, tons of rooms almost all with private bathrooms, and game room and play room made this the perfect location for our six families and 21 children. 5-10 minutes from rafting and other outdoor activities makes this location ideal for a family get away.

Wonderful huge elegant home

The property was much grander and more beautiful than the pictures showed, the decor is reminiscent of an upscale hotel with step-out balconies for each bedroom. A huge plus was a 'separate wing' for each of our six families with a private bathroom in each bedroom! The small children loved the playroom off the kitchen and the older children (and adults) loved the ping pong and foosball. The living room is super comfy and terrific for watching movies. The pool was a winner! It's a nice size but since we had a large group, the kids took turns swimming and didn't want the warm water. The deck, where we barbequed burgers and franks, and had plenty of space for our large crowd. When it started to rain, we finished our meal in the extra large dining room. There is a basketball court in back of the house and a large grass field in front of the house, where we played baseball. The actual baseball field mentioned in the description wasn't usable and the pond is fun to look at but not meant for use. The kitchen is large and has fun seating with two sinks and a second fridge is located in the adjacent room. Diane was super helpful and friendly! She gave us tips about using the shower and was so willing to help make our stay enjoyable. George responded to our questions via email and we want to thank him for the use of his wonderful home!

Great Family Reunion House

The property is very spacious and allowed our 27 guests to spread out. Our ages ranged from 10 months to 78 years old. The biggest hits were the game room with a pool table, ping pong table, foosball and shuffleboard. The playroom for the toddlers and babies was awesome!!! We wondered how we were going to entertain the little ones and this room was filled with toys!!!!

Spacious mansion for family reunion of 30!

What an incredible mansion! Plenty of space, private sleeping & bathrooms, playroom with nice toys for little ones, game room enjoyed by all. Plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, though some pots were in poor condition. Could have used a second dishwasher (or a commercial one) and refrigerator space was not enough for our group of 30. There were no dressers or night stands in the bedrooms, but adequate closet space. The only real complaint we had was about the lack of chairs. Eighteen dining room chairs were flaking and in bad shape. There were six other wood chairs, but not nearly enough for our group. Six folding chairs were provided, but they were flimsy and many broke. We would have enjoyed some lawn chairs. A concern was a lack of smoke detectors, and we didn't see a fire extinguisher. The caretakers were pleasant, responded to needs quickly, checked the pool daily and were totally unobtrusive. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Air-conditioning was a definite plus. The physical layout of the place, though a bit strange, worked extremely well for us. We look forward to returning!
