Cute Place!

Had a nice stay the weekend before so we stayed again this past weekend. In walking distance to some key spots. Great restaurant around the corner. Cozy place.

Had low expectations based off the previous reviews, and it met those expectations. The place isn’t anything fancy. But if you’re looking for a place that’s walking distance to MVP arena, look no further. The couch is terrible. The fan in the bathroom blows out hot air. Floor was very sticky in some places. The apartment is right inside the main door to the building, so you hear everything. Parking isn’t included, you have to find street parking, which is tricky at 5pm the night of a concert.

Lovely apt! Close to downtown

It was clean and fully stocked and updated! The neighborhood is a little rundown, I wouldnt walk around it at night (as a non minority woman), but I felt plenty safe the entire time. I would definitely stay there again.

Brooklyn comes to Albany

I came to Albany from an event at The Egg. It took me a while to figure out the check-in process. But once inside, I wished to book this property for a longer stay. There's a nice restaurant around the corner and a bar down the block. This is a good spot for walking to downtown Albany.

Unique place to stay

You get your steps in - the bedroom, bathroom, and only TV are upstairs the spiral staircase - but the two floor setup is pretty cool if you don't have mobility issues. The kitchen was fantastic with great stove/oven - and allowed me to cook for others. Communications could be better - but the apartment was very clean and the bathroom very nice. I would have no problem in repeating an extended stay where a kitchen is important (feel like it is wasted if you don't cook)

Short but sweet stay!

The stay was short but sweet! Everything was clean and exactly what we needed as a stopover stay on our way to another destination. The only snafu was the emailed instructions said to check the lockbox for a key and there was no key (Linda had switched to an electronic keypad and we just had not realized!). Linda was quick to speak with us over the phone about this and the matter was resolved in under 5 minutes. Would stay here again!

This place was gross. It reeked of cigarette smoke. There were splatters of substances all over the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. Little black hairs were everywhere, including the faucet. Stained bath mats. The entry code to the shared front door was the same as the door to the apartment which didn’t feel particularly safe. The front door to the apartment had plexiglass windows which also felt unsafe. Neighbors were yelling in front of the house until 1 am on one night of my 3 night stay. Would not recommend at all.

The host never responded to my request for an early check in but other than that, communication back and forth was fine. When we arrived, the cleanliness of the apartment was NOT up to standard but this was a situation that the host helped resolve during our stay. We were content with the solution but initially super frustrated. Definitely not our best experience but the unit was nice. I will say however that this isn’t the place for anyone who has issues walking up and down stairs frequently or mobility issues in general.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the initial issues with cleanliness and the early check-in request—we understand how frustrating that must have been. We’re glad we were able to resolve the situation during your stay and that you found the unit nice overall. We also appreciate your note about the stairs, as it’s important for future guests to know. We hope to provide an even smoother experience next time.

Questionable Location

The location for this property is a huge drawback. When we arrived there was a section of the road very nearby cordoned off for police activity for several hours. We did not feel comfortable walking around at all or parking our car. We left first thing in the morning before 7am. Hopefully the neighborhood is on an upswing but it's not close to acceptable yet. A small issue with cleanliness of the bathmat. Overall not an enjoyable stay.

We are located 5 minutes away from the MVP so there are always police just due to the location of the MVP. The area is very safe and there is a wonderful restaurant downstairs. I can assure you it is very safe, and such a prime downtown location! Our patrons have really enjoyed their stay. Sorry for your feedback, please reach out to us directly next time if you would like to switch units we are happy to accommodate!
