MODERN GUESTHOUSE IN PRIVATE SETTING

SPRING IS HERE. The PEEPERS are singing. Relax and enjoy a beautiful setting amongst nature and wonderful birds. Great places to shop and eat or just relax in our cozy guest house. Enjoy!

We want you to have a relaxing stay with us, free from worry. We are located in a private area, away from public.

The space
The guest house is in a private setting surrounded by stunning stone walls and next to a vernal pond. Birds sing; and the owls hoot. Walking distance to a beautiful shell beach, and the beautiful CT coastline.

Very close to picturesque Stony Creek and Guilford--historic towns in Connecticut. Great restaurants; Gorgeous oceanside Hammonasset State Park in neighboring Madison, CT--and nature preserve. And a quick trip into New Haven where you can visit the Yale campus along seeing award winning architecture.

This guest house is beautifully sited and designed by Yale Architecture graduates.

The guest house has a private bedroom with a King size tempeurpedic bed; high ceilings; Modern Bath with beautiful fixtures and shower; heated floor and heated towel rack; large glass windows and doors. A gorgeous Front Deck overlooks a pond.

The guest house is equipped with TV, AC/Heat; full bedding; towels; a kitchenette that includes a small undercounter refrigerator; sink, french press with delicious coffee; hot water pot; microwave; cups, glasses, plates and bowls, and flatware. (There are no cooking facilities in the guest house.)

Wifi is provided.

Short distance to Westwood hiking trails (Land Conservation Trust), shell beach; historic coastline of ct; great restaurants, great shops, antique stores, and museums. Great biking along the shore.

Neighborhood is friendly and quiet at night.

Easy access from I95. Parking is included.
Guest access
The guest house is located at the back of a 3 acre property with its own driveway and parking. Guests have access to a beautiful setting overlooking a vernal pond and very private with stone walls that surround the guest house.
Other things to note
There are things to do year round here. Summer is full of beach activity; hiking; sightseeing., architecture tours; Also--close by Hammonasset State Park is a special place for summer swimming and walks throughout the year--with a wonderful Nature Center. Snowy owls; hawks and winter birds are abundant.se is unique.

Perfect quiet and serene setting! All the little snacks and bottles of water were very much appreciated! Great quality bath towels and bedding! Super comfortable bed and pillows!

This is the second time that we have stayed in this lovely, mid century styled house/cottage. We love the aesthetic ofthe building and the setting makes you feel as if you are the only people for miles. Only downside for some may be that there is not a full kitchen (although there is a well stocked kitchenette) but the owners are in the process of building one.

This serene and beautiful cottage was the wonderful answer to our getaway needs. Situated close enough to many day trips and shore view restaurants to keep these travelers happy. Thoughtful space snd amenities with responsive and caring hosts.

Location was perfect , property was beautiful and the tiny house was a much better choice than a motel room. Peaceful mornings and quiet nights while being close to amenities — Guilford Lobster pound,etc I walked to shell beach and highly recommend 1928 Speakeasy in downtown Branford . I would definitely stay again

Weekend get away

Quiet weekend get away. Lovely property, beautifully designed little guest house. This was our third stay and we have kind of fallen in love with it. Great locatoin to town and beach.. we love sitting on the little deck in the morning with our coffee. Cant wait to go back.

Beautiful

This property is well maintained, clean and quiet. It is located in a beautiful location, outside of town yet a short ten minute drive to outstanding restaurants and the village green. Highly recommended.

Beautiful

This is such a lovely house in a very serene setting. The house is very clean and modern with lots of interesting art and books to look at. The hosts have thought of everything in terms of amenities.

Beautiful setting and design.

This small, beautifully designed guest house shares three acres with the owner's residence. The guest house is tucked away in the corner of the property with beautiful views and plenty of privacy. Both the building and the interior design were modern and outstanding. The small kitchen area includes a sink, coffee and tea set up, small well stocked refrigerator and complementary snacks and beverages. I believe there may be a grill available in the summer but our weather was too cold for grilling and we had take out or went out to a few of the many great restaurants in Guilford. We loved our stay and will try to stay here again when we are in the area.
