This was an incredible place to visit. Everything was well cared for, comfortable, extremely clean. We cannot wait to come again- the description is perfect: a place where time stands still and you can actually breathe.

The entry/yard needed serious weeding & water.For those that want a really firm bed that’s scented with incense this yerts for you!It was not a luxury property more a hippy house.

We are sorry you weren't able to enjoy your stay here. We value communication from our guests and would have liked to have met your needs if possible. However, we were not aware there were any issues until you left the property. We understand that not every mattress is universally comfortable so we keep a topper on hand if anyone is needing something different. The pictures you displayed (except your items in the kitchenette) are exactly what we have on the listing so we are surprised that you were not happy with the décor as we want our guests to be as informed as possible when booking the yurt. We prohibit the use of incense and candles and are very careful what cleaning products we use in the yurt so the only smell we are aware of are the fresh flower arrangements from the garden. We take pride in how we keep our property and are passionate gardeners. Sorry this experience did not meet your expectations.

This property is everything needed for a relaxing retreat. It is beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and has wonderful hosts. George the dog was also wonderful and very accommodating 😊

Wonderful property

Beautiful yurt and property! So very relaxing- loved the bed and bathroom especially. I wish we could’ve stayed a few more days and taken advantage of the outdoor space more!

Even more enchanting than the photos!

The hosts were helpful and kind, the yurt was even more beautiful and thoughtfully put-together than the photos suggested, and the location was great for a trip to Port Townsend. The garden was dreamy! I’d absolutely stay here again.

What a fantastic place!

We loved staying in this yurt. It was beautifully decorated. The gardens outside were lovely and offered numerous places to relax. There were many little generous touches that I have not experienced in more expensive places. We would love to visit again!

Cozy, Clean, & Peaceful

Lots of care and thoughtful attention was put into making this property a peaceful place to stay. The property was clean and well maintained, truly felt like home away from home. I would love to come back with a stack of books and week to myself.

PNW Getaway

We had a great first trip to the PNW and a restful stay in this beautiful place. The gardens were beautiful and the yurt exceeded our expectations. The special touches of the heated floors, kitchenette and outdoor cooking space were great. The location made it easy to get to Olympic National Park, and we also had fun exploring the local beach and Port Townsend and Fort Worden. It was a wonderful stay.

Rest and Relax

We love staying at the yurt because it is such a great home like setting and close to family for us. It's quiet, clean and comfortable. It's close to the beach for a refreshing and easy walk or a short drive to Port Townsend for tourist activities and good restaurants ... we love Silerwater for a great dinner out.

Fabulous!

The yurt was the perfect place to stay while exploring nearby Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula. We loved it! The garden is so beautiful and the accommodations were very cozy. Love the bathroom, those heated floors are really nice on cool mornings!

Beautiful weekend of relaxation

The yurt is beautiful and finely detailed. The bathroom heated floor was amazing. Kitchen and cooking set up was wondeful and Sam and Beth were fantastic hosts. Would for sure come back in the future!

So much character for a memorable stay!

How cute is this yurt?!? It was very well furnished and incredibly comfortable! The bathroom was quite nice and the heated floors a fancy touch! The bed was so comfortable! The kitchenette nice. The outdoors was lovely. We had an amazing stay here. We wished we had the time to stay longer!

Beautiful, easy stay

We had a very comfortable and easy stay in an absolutely gorgeous setting. The yurt is well-ventilated, easy to heat, beautifully furnished. The yard is welcoming and well-maintained, lots of little spaces for hanging out and enjoying a hot tea and a book. This is a really special place and a very easy drive to Port Townsend, Marrowstone Island, etc. Everything was super clean and lots of thoughtful touches.

relaxing

This was a well needed relaxing trip. We enjoyed the decor of the Yurt and all the beautiful flowers. The gas fireplace sitting area was a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Return Visit

This was a return visit for us as we have family in the area. We feel so blessed to have a nearby option that isn't a hotel. The Yurt is so relaxing and comfortable and we enjoy seeing the grounds always different from season to season. The nasturtiums were glorious this year.

Perfect Escape

Our stay at Brigadoon was absolutely amazing. The yurt provides everything you could need and creates a serene atmosphere to unwind and breathe. My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! The park down the road made for a fantastic morning stroll. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
