City of Palm Springs Permit No. 4190. This luxury home was published in GRAY magazine, Palm Springs Life, and received a Luxe Magazine award for Architecture. Designed by the owner-architect with a resort-like pool plus 25-yard lap pool, fireplace, and luxury kitchen with an Italian range, all hidden away on a secluded property just a few minutes walk from downtown Palm Springs. We cater to guests looking for luxury and extreme privacy. NOTE - the minimum age for rentals in the City of Palm Springs is 25 years.
The house was custom designed with bespoke cabinetry and furniture, raw brass hardware, and commercial-grade bi-fold doors for ideal indoor-outdoor living. A built-in bocce court in the back and a great collection of pool toys and custom linens provide all of the accessories you need for the perfect Palm Springs experience. Sit by the outdoor fireplace and watch the sunset over the San Jacinto mountains, a barbeque by the pool or cuddle up by the fire and watch a movie on the television. If you're a swimmer there's a 25-yard, two-lane lap pool so you can stay fit during your stay. If lounging around is more your speed there are plenty of pool toys as well as a waterfall and built-in concrete benches and lounge chairs for napping in the sun or the shade. There is a newly-installed outdoor shower with hot and cold water right by the pool. Two enormous date palm trees provide a bit of tropical ambiance and shade around the pool. With the fourth bedroom set up as a "bunk room" you can bring a few kids or even adults can share the room, as each bunk has a curtain to draw for privacy.
The pool is as large as some boutique hotels, with 37,000 gallons of water to relax, play, and exercise. For guests who would like the pool heated to 82/84 degrees, we do ask for payment prior to your arrival of $100 per day of your stay. Check with us to find out the weather during your stay, as there are many months of the year when heating isn't necessary.
Please note we have a whole-house water softener plus a reverse-osmosis filter for drinking water at a dedicated tap on the kitchen island (although all water is perfectly safe to drink). (All faucets have the latest low-flow water restrictors which aerate the water a bit, making it looks a bit white and bubbly immediately from the tap, but then is clear.)
A Ring doorbell with a camera at the front door records video. There are 3 "dummy" cameras at each outside corner of the property only to deter potential crime when the house is empty.
Cleaning fee and City of Palm Springs Transient Occupancy Tax and Tourism tax (totaling 12.5%) added when checking out.
